Oh! I like so know your pain! What is it? Is it because our kids our older? I used to be one of those that was bothered by early Christmas advertisements and now I’m a freak!
Nice back in the day pictures at Zion’s Bank.
I’m SO excited too! Especially for our 1st Christmas in our new house! Reading Christmas stories is my favorite, I see you have some of my favs. And “It’s a wonderful life”, Ryan and I cry no matter how many times we’ve watched that movie! Love it!
You can do it, hold off till after Thanksgiving. You will enjoy it all the more!
Babe,
Don’t forget our favorite Christmas movie — nothing makes me feel the holiday spirit like Die Hard 2.
“On a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation’s capital, terrorists seize a major international airport, holding thousands of holiday travelers hostage. Led by a murderous rogue officer, the renegade band of crack military commandos has come to rescue a drug lord from justice. They’ve prepared for every contingency except one: John McClane, an off-duty cop gripped with a feeling of deadly déjà vu. …”
Tell me that doesn’t make you ready to trim the tree and drink some egg nog…
Oh. My. Gosh. Kenny is killing me!! Don’t forget The Family Man! Is that one in the stack???
And I say….WAIT.
Oh, duh…it’s right on top of the stack. Silly me.
Where is ELF?????????????????? You promised! I am with you, I am soooo excited for Christmas!!!
We started to watch Christmas movies today. Bailey was home sick and I just though it would be nice to watch one or maybe two or three.
Friendship is over if you don’t add Elf to that stack!!
Sis – I’m with your friends. ELF needs to be added to the classics list! It comes after Family Man, but waaaay before Die Hard 2. Nice try Santa Kenny.
Carly,
Can you BELIEVE your sister has never seen Elf???? That is a true tragedy!

K – first of all – Kenny. I got so excited to see that you’d commented on my blog and THAT is what you wrote??? Die Hard 2. Why am I not surprised. Car, Shari and Ann – ELF WILL be watched this year – SOON! (or apparently three of my favorite people will abandon me). It just isn’t one I own (yet!) and the picture was of the movies in my immediate possesion. Clearly this is a priority so I’ll move “watch Elf” up on my priority list. Everyone happy now???
Erin-I’m HAPPY!!!!
Now in response to your comment on my blog, it has been one big bad hair day for me since I moved to San Diego!!! Yes, I go to Virginia and my hair is straight and smooth and gorgeous! Virginia of all places (not even Utah or Arizona!). Curly hair and three miles from the beach equals lots of work!!! But we try don’t we?!?
erin, go to jtandrus.blogspot.com
jeff andrus has cancer and it’s the blog his wife is doing to keep everyone updated on his treatments. i can’t believe that someone we went to hs with has cancer. it breaks my heart. keep him in your prayers
I feel the same way! Break out the christmas lights!!!!!
P.S. I just have to tell you that I think your costumes for Halloween (yourselves in high school) is so funny! Brad and I have been laughing so hard! (I think my hair would have looked like your drill team picture!)
What the heck?? Why is everyone waiting till Thanksgiving to start watching Christmas movies? We started watching Rudolf and Frosty over a month ago. Everytime I hear the songs playing it puts me in a good mood. There can’t be anything wrong with that, Right? Break them out and quick! PS- love the bank pictures.
