I was going to have Ellie randomly choose the winners so tonight before I put her to bed I told her to pick a number between 1 and 219. She said “eighteen hundred.” So. Not only did I realize Ellie wouldn’t be picking the winners after all, I also realized we need to set aside some serious time for number practice. :)

Love this picture of my little dude! I have to say though that I’m not making a lot of major progress on his book. Just throwing a page together here and there when I have a minute. I don’t know how to scrapbook for a boy. I’m trying really hard to keep things plain and masculine. I told myself I wasn’t going to use my standby paper flowers on any of his layouts, but then I caved. Convinced myself they looked like sunshines and were ok… just this one time. :)

As a mom of 2 little boys, I often find myself frustrated at the lack of scrapbooking supplies for them…I can only make so many pages with dinosaurs on them!! I even got upset at my local store because they had 7 tables of cute little girl pages and products and NOTHING for boys. I was happy to see they listened and evened it out the next time I went in.
My pages for them tend to be very streamline, like yours and I use a ton of green, blue, brown, white and maroon. I also stick flowers on their pages and use a lot of generic rubons…I don’t think they look Girly at all…/it’s all in the colour choice :-)

As the mum of one boy, I agree it’s a tad difficult to scrap his pages sometimes. The flowers do add to the page and with Kole looking so gorgeous how could you not add them. I miss those chubby bub cutie times.
