Sharing a few pics of my mantel at this very moment. And I know it’s pretty similar to past Spring mantels I’ve already shared. But while I was decorating it I realized that it was the last time I’d decorate this mantel in this house so I’m sharing pictures anyway. :)
The only new addition to the mantel is the plate. It has been with me a while. It was $2.99 at Home Goods and for that price and with those colors it just sort of hopped in my cart.
A simple Spring mantel. That I thought was done and done.
Until Ad brought home this ever so interesting clay fish she made in school.
And with that pose and with those colors, he just sort of hopped on up.
Free for all mantel. Wonder what will find its way up there next?
:)

I love the mantle, but the fish is pricless!!
It seems to me that “sort of hopped” can explain away a lot of things. Good to know ;o)
I love that plate, it is soooo pretty. But the fish has my heart.
Where did you find the R Erin ? I love the Aqua color.
Did you paint the aqua holders yourself? i love the color!
What a happy cheerful mantle. I’m in search of a fun new plate for my mantle to add some color. Happy Monday!
Thanks everyone!
Reenie and Rosa – I found the R at Pottery Barn Kids and then painted it aqua. And yes – I also painted the aqua candle holders. I had a bit of an aqua obsession last year and painted half of my house that color! :)
Erin, I love the fish that Addison painted for you! She knows your favorite colors, for sure! I think both of your daughters have your creativity instinct – I can tell they love doing artwork projects together. Thank you for another wonderful post!
I love your mantels! They are always so pretty. We don’t have a mantel at this house, but I decorate our front table and that works. I love the aqua and yellow together for spring. So happy and fresh! :)
So cheerful and pretty. Love the fish — Ad is very talented! The aqua is such a cheerful color. Love the mantel, love your blog! Happy spring and congrats on the new house — it’s looking beeeyootiful!
