Happy Friday everyone! Made it through the week! Always cause for celebration, right? :) Sharing a few fun favorites today! My lemons on my Spring Tablescape bit the dust. I put half of them in my water that I drank all week and the rest wilted. The lemons on my lemon trees aren’t ready to pick yet so I decided to buy some long term substitutes.
Picked up these cute faux lemons from World Market so I don’t have to keep replacing the lemons in my lanterns. I think they look pretty real. Although I asked my 12 year old if she thought they looked real and she said “they do from a distance mom, but up close they look like something my American Doll would eat.” Well then. There you have it. An honest review of my new lemons. Still keeping them. :)
I love my Barcelona vase and white blossoms from World Market in my formal dining room.
But I love the vase and flowers in my nook too…
So I picked up another vase and a few more blossoms. :) These white velvet plum blossoms are one of my all time favorite faux flowers and they are a great price. So I’m going to have them in two rooms. Are we ok with that? I’m ok with that. :)
I can’t express enough love for these waterscape vases from West Elm! They are so beautiful in person. I love the green/blue variation in them. Excited to show you where they are going!
Ok.. this is a good favorite! I have really dry skin. I use Cetaphil lotion for my face, legs, etc. and really like it, but my face was still always dry. I did a little research and heard great reviews about this Clinique overnight moisture mask and thought I’d try it. I’ve used it now for a few weeks and absolutely LOVE it. Seriously.. I’m so excited about it! It goes on just like a lotion and I put it on right before bed every 2-3 nights and wake up with the softest, smoothest, moist looking skin. I don’t use Clinique make-up, but this makes me want to try more of their products. It’s the perfect solution for dry skin! A new favorite around here.
Last years sandals don’t fit my girls anymore (that always makes me sad!) so it was time for some new summer shoes. Aren’t these sandals adorable!? El chose the brown “Cretee” sandal and Ad chose the hot pink “Brook” sandal. I love them so much I asked the store clerk how big they come to see if I could squeeze into a pair! #kiddingnotkidding Now if my girls could just please just stop growing so they can wear these forever! Or at least for two seasons. I’ll take two seasons!
Since my girls’ sandals didn’t come in my size I opted for some new flip flops. Did you all know that Ugg makes flip flops!? I didn’t! When I saw these I expected them to be really pricey. They were $40 each, which is a little pricey for flip flops, but not as bad as I thought Ugg flip flops might be. Especially since they are of course true to their brand and so comfortable! Really soft. I bought the tan and black but they also come in orange.
I had the black flip flops on in this picture of our girls trip to Naples (suit details here). They will be everyday summer shoes for sure!
Ok! Quick re-cap of a few things I’ve been wearing the past week. One day I never changed out of my workout clothes and wore no make-up. Keepin’ it real here. I usually have 1 or 2 days a week that this happens and there is just no time to get ready. I will say that my Zella zip front jacket was one of the smartest purchase I’ve made! I wore it every morning to exercise in and love it. It’s cute so I don’t feel as frumpy when I have to live in it all day. May and June tend to be on the cool side in San Diego, especially mornings on the coast, so this jacket was perfect to walk/run in. This specific gray jacket is gone (it went on sale and didn’t last long!) but new colors are in for summer. (Leggings are also Zella.)

Love this outfit. Very casual which is very me. If I can’t live in my workout clothes every day, I’m at least going to be comfortable. :)
Still loving my new drawstring bucket bag! It goes so well with all of my casual clothes.
{capris/shoes (similar)/reversible tote/watch/chevron necklace}
This top I’ve had forever. The capris are some favorites from Anthro. I have them in gray and navy and wear them all the time. SO comfy and soft and lightweight.
{Anthro Quinn jacket/AG jeans/gray and navy tote/tanner pendant necklace/Toms boots – on sale!}
This is that cute jacket I told you all about from Anthro that I bought for our Paris trip! Love the way it ties in the back. Someone needs to get this in the fun peach color it comes in. It was my favorite but that color just doesn’t work with my hair and skin. Another jacket that was perfect for cloudy days.
Luckily the clouds didn’t bring too much humidity so I was able to pull off straight hair all week. Nice change!
{Chino cropped pants/shoes (similar)/watch/necklace/Fossil cross body bag}
Last one! My Chino cropped pants just went on sale! Might need them in another color.
This Fossil cross body bag is another favorite. So fun for when it’s just me running errands and all I need is my wallet, sunglasses, cell and keys. Once the kids are home I’m back to my big “mom bags” that hold everything but the kitchen sink. Fishy crackers not included. :)
Speaking of all things mom I hope everyone had a great mother’s day last weekend! I get to see my mom soon to celebrate a little late and can’t wait! Last Saturday night my husband took me to dinner and while we were gone the kids surprised me by cleaning the kitchen, living room and mudroom and making posters and notes. Sweet little notes about what they love about me.. like how I help them untie their converse shoe laces when they get tangled in double knots.
Moms are pretty important. What would kids do if their coverse shoes were stuck on them forever? :)
Couldn’t love this crew more. My favorite of all the favorites.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

What a great list of favorites. Sorry about the lemons. Maybe if you scuff them up a bit, they might look more realistic up close? LOL I’ll take fake over wilty though. Your outfits always look so dang cute on you. You find some great pieces! And that last picture…well that is my favorite of the bunch! Such a lovely family photo! Frame-worthy for sure! Have an awesome weekend.
Thanks so much Jeanne! That last picture always makes me smile because of the way Kole and Ad are all scrunched up and hugging. :) Enjoy your weekend cutie! xo
That Kole is so darn cute-he still has such a little boy look about him, I think that might last a long time for him, I know you want to hear that Erin! :) So sweet.
Love your fashion/beauty posts-they really help me and I need all the help I can get.
YES! I do want to hear that! You know me well Sarah. :) Thanks so much cutie! I need some motivation with food/eating healthy right now! Wish I had your determination. xo
Love your fashion posts and home organizing posts!! I ordered the converse shoes and the blue anthro jumpsuit about a month ago and love both!! So comfy!! I am originally from San Diego and now have been a midwest girl for the last 26years. Love following your blog. Darling family pic!!
Thank you so much Rose! I’m thrilled you love the shoes and Anthro jumpsuit! Two of my favorites! You made my day with your sweet comment. :) Thanks cutie! xo
Love your style! I know you shared a jewelry post the other day – such a good tip to have it all visible! – do you wear rings (besides maybe a wedding set)?
Hi Anna! Thank you so much! I don’t! I usually just wear my wedding ring (or no ring at all) because I’m always cleaning or doing something with the kids that involves a mess and I don’t want a ring on. The practical side of me comes out when it comes to jewelry and rings usually get in my way! ;) xo
You always find the cutest things Erin! Doesn’t seem to matter what it is! I really like the Zella cropped leggings and was wondering how they fit and if you would so kindly send me the link?
Thanks so much!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks so much Kimberly! Such a sweet thing to say! Love the fit of my Zella leggings. You can find them here:

Enjoy your weekend! :)
Would you go with the size you normally get or would you go bigger or smaller?
Thanks again Erin!
They are true to size! :) xo
Hi Erin! An idea for your lemons…..where I live I have to buy lemons and I will a bunch at a time ( a large bunch ) when they are on sale. I keep 2 different freezer bags, one bag with lemons cut up that will fit in my water bottle and the 2nd bag is full of lemons cut in half ( I use half a lemon in my smoothie every morning) Hope that helps you :) BTW your family is lovely!
Such a great idea Robyn! I never thought to freeze them! Trying that next time for sure. Thanks cutie! xo
Erin, you are killing me with the fashion posts! In a good way, of course. I am such a casual girl but never feel very pulled together. I just did some damage on Nordstrom’s website. We don’t have one locally and I’ve literally never bought anything from there. Got the Leighton bag, some cute wedge sandals, distressed skinny crops, and so many other cute items. SO excited! Thanks for your fun posts and for keeping me stylish!!
xoxo
Sarah
Sarah! You are the sweetest. Thank you so much cutie! Oh my word.. you’ll LOVE ordering from Nordstroms! SO easy – free shipping and free returns if something doesn’t fit/work. It makes shopping a piece of cake! But yes.. awfully easy to do major damage. Ha! So excited for you! Hope you love it all! :) xo
where did you get the camo pants in your picture. I know you posted the link to some similar but I prefer the ones you have on. Tx
Hi Lori! They were also from Nordstroms but they sold out a long time ago. That’s why I always link to similar pairs. xo
Hey I can’t find where to sign up to get your emails…could you help me with that?? Thanks!
Hi Audra! If you go to my blog on a desktop look at the right sidebar! Scroll down just a bit and you’ll see a box that says “subscribe via email” and then below that there is a place to put your name and e-mail address. That’s it! Let me know if you have any more problems! xo
Hi Erin-
Would you be able to tell me the size of your World Market Barcelona vase? Is it the largest one, 18″? Thank you!
Hi Sarah! Yes! The largest one. :) xo
