Sharing some Christmas cheer in my mudroom today! I shared my little tree a few posts back. I have quite a few trees in my house this year and I have to say that for some reason this little tree with my new fuzzy tree skirt is my favorite.

You can see more info. on my Container Store gift wrap (and my decorated office!) in this post.
Here are a few pics I took of the rest of the room! (You can see how all of our mudroom built-ins are organized in this post.)
{Pom pom knitted throw/plaid pillow/stag pillow (on sale!) – similar stag pillow/boxwood wreath}
Don’t you love how you can toss a different throw and pillow over a chair/bench/couch and have a totally new look in your room? I do. I love this stag pillow! I found this similar stag pillow that’s also on sale and so cute! I’d buy it, but after decorating my living room yesterday I’m officially putting myself on a Christmas pillow buying freeze. I have a problem and admitting it is the first step to recovery.
I bought a few of these cute little boxwood wreaths this year and just switched out the ribbon on them. I love small wreaths like this to put in little places throughout my home. They look especially cute on the back of chairs in the kitchen or dining room.
I’ve been making my kids keep this room extra clean. Nothing can be tossed and left on the floor this month! We walk in and out of this room so many times during the day and it just makes me happy to see everything clean and decorated with the tree lights on. A bit of calm and peace during hectic, busy days! Moms don’t ask for much right!? :)
I added ribbon to our mudroom baskets again but decided to use the same snowflake ribbon I put on the tree for a fun change. Because I’m wild and crazy like that. I just love snowflakes! They seem to pop up in one way or another in every room in my house this time of year.
That wraps up the mudroom Christmas tour! I’m trying to tie up loose ends in other rooms throughout my house and get them finished but I have to admit that I’m in a bit of a slump! I felt like I was so productive before Thanksgiving but that break made me just want to stay in pj’s and eat all day. Anyone else feeling like that? Not a good mindset going into one of the busiest months of the year. I need to snap out of it!
Maybe if I buy another Christmas pillow..
Ha ha.. just kidding!
Kind of. But not really. :)
{MUDROOM SOURCES}
Love the tree peaking through the door! I would love to have a mudroom…especially if I could have a tree to welcome us in on these dark evenings. – JC
Thank you so much JC! So happy you like it. I hope you’re enjoying the holidays! xo
I thought I’m the only one feeling like I’m in a slump. I’m not even that far along like you are on Christmas decorating at all. The 4 day Thanksgiving weekend was used to put away Fall decors, wash all throw pillow covers, and wrap a few presents that need to be mailed out. Now I’m lacking energy to do the rest of the things on the list. I also need to snap out of it. So much left to do! Thanks for sharing your mudroom Christmas wonderland Erin!
Thank you Debbie! I know.. December is so busy that it can sometimes be overwhelming! I felt a little more productive today so fingers crossed we can both fully come out of the haze and gain some much needed energy and motivation! xo
Looking awesome, Erin. I can see why that tree is a favorite. It’s adorable and chock full of presents! I like those big wooden snowflakes. I notice pillows a lot more than I used to thanks to your sharing about them. I don’t buy them, but I sure do notice them. There are some fun ones out there. I hope you get over your slump…I’m living vicariously through you right now and need the house done. LOL Seriously though…it’s not even December yet! You’ll get it done. Have a super day! :)
Oh no.. have I turned you into a crazy Christmas pillow lady too!? Ha ha.. ;) Thanks cutie! I hope you’re surviving the craziness at work this week! YEA for the weekend ahead! :) xo
Im sitting curled up on my couch, enjoying your blog, as i come to the end of today’s blog i burst out loud laughing! Thanks for bringing joy to my day as always :)
Cara that made me so happy to hear! Ha ha.. thank you! You brought some joy to my day too. ;) xo
All of the Container Store’s wrappings this year are AMAZING! I could have spent hundreds on them.
Oh my word.. right!? SO cute this year! :)
Hi Erin!
You’ve done it again with the mudroom! It is beautiful and so festive. I love it. Do you mind sharing the dimensions of this room? And, different room here, but what are the dimensions of your kitchen islands? I’m trying to see if two islands will fit in our kitchen!
Off to buy the little boxwood wreaths now!
Chelsea
Thank you Chelsea! So happy you like it! :) My mudroom is approx. 14×10 feet and my kitchen islands are around 3 1/2 by 7 feet. I hope that helps! xo
Erin, I love how you decorated your mudroom this year! I’m so jealous that you have a mudroom. I’m excited to be getting our tree this weekend and to decorate the house! I always look forward to reading your posts; no matter the subject. xo
What a sweet thing to say Shari! Thank you! And happy decorating! So much fun. :) xo
Erin, how do you deal with ‘memory’ ornaments, such as “Baby’s First Christmas” or special creations that the children have made at school? All of your trees look beautiful. I love visiting your blog and am not being critical. I just would like to know what you do with the keepsake type of ornaments.
Hi Cheryl! Thank you! I’ll try to share pics of what we’ve done in the past with those ornaments in a post soon! They are my favorite. :)
I’m new to your blog. Do you have a post showing your paint color in the mudroom?
Hi Marianne! Welcome and it’s nice to “meet” you. :) You can find all of my paint colors in this post:

I hope that helps! :)
Thank you so much Erin! Merry Christmas!
Hi Erin – I was curious if you use candles in your windows. I am looking for some battery operated candles.
I love your blog and decor tips.
Thank you!
Christine
Hi Christine! Thank you! I’ve never used battery operated candles or put them in my windows. Sorry I’m no help with that one! Have you tried looking at Target or Pottery Barn? That’s probably where I’d check first! xo
Erin, I love those big snowflakes on the tree. I am desperately to trying to find them. I know you bought them in Utah, can you tell me the name of the store? I am hoping to order them online for next year’s tree. I am partial to only those particular snowflakes! Love love love your blog by the way!
Hi Cheryl! I love those snowflakes too! I bought them at Tai Pan but then the Tai Pan in Utah went out of business! I was so sad. They still have one in SLC I think but I’m not sure if they have the snowflakes. I’ll definitely let you know if I ever see them anywhere else! Thank you so much for your sweet words about my blog. That made my day! :) xo
