Happy Friday! What a week! It has been a busy one at our house with lots of summer activities and friends and projects. I’m tired! But happy. :) Happy because it was a fun, productive week and also because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to all! I’m crossing my fingers they re-stock a few things that sold so fast. I shared this jacket in my first round of dressing room pics but wanted to show you the “raisin” color in better lighting.  I usually don’t wear a lot of red and maroon clothes (not really my colors!) but I fell hard for this jacket in raisin the second I put it on!  This jacket is one of my favorites from the N sale this year because it’s such a cute, flattering fit and it’s SO comfortable.  Plenty of room to wear a warm top underneath and the material is so soft.  I’m in love!  There are still a lot of sizes in stock and I honestly think it’s just because it looks so much better in person than it does on-line.

Another sweater I ordered on-line and fell in love with!  Comes in lots of colors and it’s so warm and cozy.  Which doesn’t feel that great now in the heat.. but will eventually. :)

I bought my husband a similar black vest last year and he LIVED in it.  So I decided we should twin. Ha. :)  I only buy The North Face items on sale!  Love them but they are pricey.  This is such a warm, soft vest.  El dances on her high school dance team so I bought this for all of the football games we’ll be going to in the Fall.  Let’s play ball!  Oh wait.. that’s baseball isn’t it!?  Clearly I just go to watch halftime. ;)

Alright.. what you do guys think?  Do we love or hate the snake skin booties?  I honesty can’t decide!  I think I love them BUT.. I have a feeling that instead of actually wearing them I’ll always just reach for these instead..

And last but not least this gorgeous black dress!  It’s so beautiful.  Usually when I hear the words “sweater dress” I run in the other direction.  I have curves and some definite junk in the trunk which usually isn’t a great sweater dress combo.  But this dress has such a flattering fit.   Fitted at the waist and then it hangs just right instead of hugging too tight.

The pattern and material are amazing and I love the neckline.  Really high quality if you need a simple black dress!

Alright I’ve got to head to bed.  Just finished Julie and Julia while I was writing this post.  I always have a TV show on in the background when I write at night because it keeps me awake!  And it has to be a show that I’ve seen a few times so that it’s just happy background noise and I’m not temped to really watch it.  I’ve seen this one a time or 200.  It’s about a blogger so I like it.  And I’m fascinated by the cooking.

Because it’s so foreign to me. ;)
