Alright fashion lovers! This post is for you! Kicking off our first N sale try on with shoes. For me the selection of shoes and jeans in this year’s sale was hands down the best! So many fun options.

*For size reference – if I don’t mention otherwise each item fits true to size! I’m 5’3 and 1/2 (don’t forget the half!) and usually xs in tops and a 26 in jeans. 

{tressara pointed knee high boot/sonbela pointed toe boot/dixie waterproof boot}

These were my favorite boots from the sale. I always gravitate to Vince Camuto boots and booties because aside from being so stylish they are also so comfortable! I fell hard for the heel on the tressara boot! I ordered them in the dark brown color to try also. Such a Fall staple. I’m also thrilled slouchy boots are back in – they have always been my favorite! I also gravitate towards this light brown color because it goes with everything and is what I tend to want to wear the most. The black boots are a fun look too and are also so comfortable! I ordered this similar pair I found on-line for a little less to compare and see which one I like best.

{houston sneaker/retro sneaker}

When I saw the sale preview the first item I saw that I was beyond excited about were the Rag & Bone retro sneakers! Definitely a splurge (even on sale) but I’m a sneaker girl. Sneakers and joggers are staples for me and I know I will live in these! (I bought one half size smaller in the retro sneaker – they ran a little big for me.) LOVE them. I wish I could buy them in every color! The houston sneakers surprised me when I tried them on. So cute and they have a soft pad for the sole so they are extremely comfortable! Both come in lots of fun color options.

{slingback pump/pama sandal}

I’ve needed a good basic black heel forever so I was thrilled about these Vince Camuto pumps! They have the same cute block heel as the tall boots. My friend bought them in tan and loves them too! The block heel sandals are similar to a pair I live in so I was excited to mix it up with these fun knotted straps.  They are so cute on!

I tried on so many shoes and these were hands down my favorites. The hardest part was deciding which color to choose!

{leather tote}

I have to say that I wasn’t as impressed with the purse selection this year. I liked a few but only bought one – this leather tote. It’s beautiful! Such nice quality and I love the black straps. It has a cute zipper pouch inside that you can keep attached or take out. I love big bags like this that I can just toss any and everything inside!

These were other favorites and the only reason I didn’t buy them is because I already have similar purses. If you don’t have a madewell transport tote I would totally recommend that bag. I love the strap and have used and loved my madewell totes for years! But you already knew that, didn’t you. :) I did buy a few of the Adidas belt bags – such a good deal and so cute! One for me and a couple for gifts. They would be fun to fill with a gift card or other little items inside!

This is what my bed currently looks like. It needs a summer re-fresh! I took of my comforter and put it in the guest bedroom and we are just sleeping with our favorite barefoot dream blankets! It’s so hot at night that’s all we really need. I have to say that I’m loving it because my husband is a huge cover hog! He somehow manages to roll up in all of our covers every night and I wake up freezing with nothing on me. I’m quite happy having my own blanket he can’t steal! Ha. Plus these blankets are the coziest. I ordered another chenille stripe white comforter for my bed (it’s on sale again this year!) to use when it cools off, but I will have a hard time parting with my barefoot dream blanket. I can’t recommend them enough! I just gave my dad one for Father’s Day and my mom keeps telling me how much he loves his blanket and how he moves it around with him everywhere. It’s such a nice gift to give too! Share the cozy. :)

Ok.. first up is this cute madewell top! I always head to the madewell section first. But you already knew that, didn’t you. :) These mother jeans were a fun surprise.. I didn’t expect to love them but they are such a good fit (so flattering!) and I feel very at home in flares again. It has been a minute.. but also feels like I was wearing them yesterday. :) They are a little long on me so perfect to wear with a block heel shoe.

This top also comes in green and I loved it so much I bought both! CUTE top.

Another fun madewell top! Love the sleeves, love the buttons, love the color.

{dolman sweater/initial necklace/AG straight leg jeans/sonbela pointed toe boot}

This was one of my favorite sweaters from the sale! So soft and cozy and it just fits beautifully. I love the neckline too. These AG jeans are seriously the BEST fit! A straight leg so they are perfect for tall boots. (They are supposed to be a little cropped but are full length jeans for shorties like me!) This is the pair of jeans I will reach for the most.. hands down. But you already knew that, didn’t you. :) Worth every penny. They also brought back one of my favorite initial necklaces this year! I wear it all the time and have given a few for gifts.

{puff sleeve sweater/AG straight leg jeans/sonbela pointed toe boot/initial necklace}

This puff sleeve sweater is so cute! I love sweaters like this because they are perfect for San Diego fall. It’s never cold enough for a long sleeve sweater in October but by then I’m always over summer tops and desperately want to wear fallish looking things! Now I can. Check! :)

Ok.. I was talking to my friend before shopping the sale and I told her DON’T let me buy another color block madewell cardigan! I love them but I already have several. I knew Nordstrom would bring them back again and I knew I would be tempted to buy one again! She even sent me a text to remind me when I was shopping. Of course I totally ignored it when I saw the pink and green and this baby promptly came home with me. #sorrynotsorry

{long sleeve tee/tressara pointed toe knee boot/AG straight leg jeans/initial necklace}

This top is supposed to be off the shoulder! And it’s a darling off the shoulder top if you want to wear it that way! I personally don’t love off the shoulder tops. You have to wear a strapless bra and if it’s cool enough for a sweater I want my shoulders covered. (I can be pretty practical when I want to be.) ;) But how cute is this sweater worn this way with just a big, slouchy neck! I love it. It was a little tight fitting so I sized up to a small. I tried the white and it was way too see through! Love the black.

A simple thermal top. Staple! I ordered it in the cream too. It’s huge so size down. I’m wearing xxs and it’s still slouchy.

{oversized graphic tee/ex boyfriend AG jeans/retro sneaker}

Speaking of slouchy.. nothing like a fun oversized graphic tee! I always share tees like this with my girls. These AG jeans are a relaxed fit and are also so flattering! (Seriously AG jeans are too good!) You can cuff them or leave them down for a cropped looked. So fun to wear with sneakers!

Ok this top and these zella joggers aren’t part of the sale.. just two items I love and have been living in this summer! Really cute with my new houston sneakers. :) (This is the top I have in 3 colors! Hands down my most worn item this summer.)

{hunter plaid button-up/AG prima ankle jeans/tressara pointed toe boot}

I always get a rails plaid top during the sale and never regret it! They are so soft and comfortable and flattering for fall! I love the soft material and how they hang. These jeans are another great fit (AG for the win again!) and I love the dark wash to go with certain tops.

{chiffon blouse/AG straight leg jeans/slingback pump/leather tote/initial necklace}

Last but not least for today is this beautiful chiffon blouse! So light weight and pretty! Perfect to start wearing in early fall before it gets cold. It’s a little dressy so I like it with my new pumps. Green is in and I’m loving it! Give me all the green!
