Back at it! My new 15 minute organizing list is live and ready to go. I always get so motivated to organize in the summer! If I’m being honest the urge to really de-clutter hits me a lot stronger from June-September than it does during January. Maybe it’s because in January I’m burned out from the holidays and just want to live in my sweats and watch movies all day? Maybe it’s because without the rigid school schedule I have small pockets of free time to organize here and there in the summer? Maybe it’s because a new school year is approaching so it feels like a good time for a fresh start? Or maybe it’s because with all of the summer chaos I crave some sort of order in my life? I’m guessing it’s all 4 reasons with a hard emphasis on the 4th. Ha. Regardless I love organizing this time of year! My 15 minute a day organizing spurts are doable and motivating and it’s so fun checking off my list and seeing real progress.

Since I’m on an organizing kick I thought it would be fun to share my favorite summer organization solutions! These are all organized spots in my home that I’ve shared before through the years that are especially helpful for our family in the summer time.

Getting our garage organized was hands down my most rewarding organization project EVER. I still smile every day pulling in and out of our clean garage! I have a few messy spots that I need to tackle this summer, but for the most part we have kept it clean!

{sports equipment organizer}

You might remember our little sports equipment organizer. We still love and use this daily! It’s especially nice in the summer when Kole’s friends are over and they are puling out the sports toys. This exact organizer is linked above but there are several very similar options that I linked below.

{similar 5 bike storage stand/scooter stand}

Bikes are another g0-to in the summer! When we first organized our garage we bought this storage stand for bikes and scooters and it worked so well.

{rail mount bike lifts}

When my girls both started driving and the bikes got bigger we needed more garage space and a better solution! Kenny installed these rail mount bike lifts and we have loved this set up.

They are so easy to take down and put back in place!

{trunk organizer}

My trunk organizer is a recent favorite and I am LOVING it right now! Between summer camps and friend get togethers and beach time this has been the perfect solution to hold all of our summer essentials. You can see more of my car organization favorites here.

{coat rack turned pool towel rack/favorite pool towels here & here}

We can’t have a summer organization post and not include my beloved towel rack! Which is really a coat rack but we don’t care because it’s the best pool towel rack EVER. Still works like a charm! It’s only available in black right now, but I linked lots of similar options below along with our favorite pool towels. I’ve loved seeing how so many of you have used this through the years!

I’ve been so grateful for our outdoor console table the past month. Aside from being a helpful spot to hold snacks and water..

it keeps all of Kole’s random pool toys in one place! Easy access for the boys and easy to clean up after a day of swimming.

{farmhouse open canvas storage bins}

These storage bins in my main floor laundry room have been so handy. I love them always but especially in the summer.

They hold extra towels along with swimsuits! Setting up this little spot for swimsuits has made my life so much easier. I love finding ways to save time and by setting up good organization systems.

Ahhh the water bottles. Nothing says summer like 15 water bottles all over the house! I can’t keep up with the cups and water bottles this time of year. They drive me crazy but I love that I have this spot to hold them all when it’s time to wash and put them away!

Definitely a favorite organizer.. especially in the summer!

Last but not least I’m so grateful for all of my fridge organizers this time of year!

 {food storage containers}

My fridge doesn’t always look this picture perfect in the summer, but I do love having these containers to hold all of our cold snacks.

They actually force me to wash and cut things up right after a trip to the grocery store.

My fridge is full of containers so I have to use them to maximize space! I’ve created a system that forces me to keep my fridge organized.

I’m tricky like that. ;)
