{2023 HOLIDAY PLANNER}
Well I tried. I tried to wait until October for this post but my excitement for all things Christmas was just too strong this year! (If you’re new here.. Hi! My name is Erin and Christmas is my favorite. :) I love fall too! But I’ve learned over the years that if I want to enjoy my favorite time of year I have to be organized and start planning for it early. I can do this and enjoy all things pumpkin spice at the same time.
I’m tricky like that. ;)
Years ago I designed this holiday planner to help all of us stay organized during the busiest season of the year. A little planning ahead makes a huge difference! I find that my brain is all over the place once October hits so having one spot where I can keep all of my lists – party plans, decor plans, meal plans, gift ideas, calendars, to-do lists, etc. is so helpful. Download the entire planner or just print the pages that are helpful to you! (I added a meal planning page for Thanksgiving this year after so many of you requested it!). You can download my holiday planner HERE by joining my e-mail list. If you’re already on my list just enter your information again (it won’t add you twice) and you’ll get instant access to my printable library.
YEA for us getting a jump start on holiday planning! In other fun holiday news, most of my favorite Christmas decor is back in stock! A lot of it sells out so quickly (some by early/mid October!) so hopefully this will give you some decorating ideas and time to plan. Some items are already backordered so I’m clearly not the only person thinking ahead when it comes to the holidays!
{norway faux spruce tree/chunky wool jute rug/leafy glam garland/gold beaded garland/glitter star ornaments/
khaki velvet ribbon/black velvet ribbon/rizzo textured ball ornaments/similar textured glass ball ornaments/glitter gold star tree topper}
Last year I went pretty neutral with my family room Christmas tree and loved it so much. This leafy glam garland is stunning! The gold beads and stars are also favorites I’ll use again this year.
{rizzo textured ball ornaments/similar textured glass ball ornaments}
These ornaments sold out so quickly last year! They are a little pricey so I just sprinkled a handful of them on my tree. Another idea is buying just one box and setting them in a bowl on your coffee table.
{Norway 9′ faux spruce tree/burgundy wood bead garland/gold bead garland (similar here)/glitter star ornaments/gold ball ornaments/gold star}
This was my family room tree the year before all decked in red beads and gold. I like to keep my trees simple and let the tree itself shine! This Norway faux spruce is beyond beautiful in person and so easy to set up! I can do it myself in no time.
{cable knit fur faux pillows(on sale!)/everywhere velvet pillow (similar pillows for less)/conell lumbar pillow/conell 20″ square pillow
velvet sherpa tree pillow/fa la la pillow/merry pillow/similar tree pillow/wool jute rug}
I’ll confess.. I own a lot of Christmas pillows. :) But these are the holiday pillows that have stood the test of time and that I pull out year after year. LOVE every one of these and I can’t wait to have them on my couches again!
Love the whole merry collection!

My faux cedar garland is one item that comes in stock and flies right back out! I’m so excited because this year they have it in 3 sizes (6 ft/9 ft/15 ft) and they even have a snowy version. So beautiful! I ordered a couple of the snowy garlands to check out and will share a pic when they come in. It’s already backordered so don’t wait if you want it! This garland is so realistic and easy to work with when you’re styling spaces. I couldn’t love it more!
{khaki velvet ribbon/similar handknit stockings/hanging bells here & here}
This beautiful Amazon ribbon was another favorite I used a lot last year that sold out quickly.
{faux cedar garland/faux eucalyptus garland}
Sometimes I mix my cedar garland with this pretty eucalyptus garland and love the look so much! Just twist the two together and use command hooks to hang them.
{brass lanterns/flamless pillar candles}
My pretty lanterns are on sale! This is a not so great phone pic, but it shows the sizes of candles I use. I’ve had these for years and never take them down! We love the candlelight that clicks on every evening.

Now back to all things pumpkin spice. :)
Erin,
Love it! Really helpful and so complete!
Hmmmmmm…. “or something similar” ??????? the window scene. I can’t wait!
Your house reigns supreme at Christmas, especially the dining room!
The little black reindeer- on my wish list! For sure!
Erin! I’m finally ready to buy a 9-foot faux tree. You’ve convinced me McGee and Co is the way to go, though that’s an investment for me. I’m torn on the Norway 9′ that’s on sale for $760 now and the Grandis 9′ that’s $680. The Grandis is a bit narrower, which I think I’d like. Other than that, I don’t really see a difference. Realism is my first priority, along with easy setup and longevity. I’d love your opinion if you have the chance. Thanks!
Hi Kelley! Honestly I’m sure you can’t go wrong with either! I don’t have the Grandis so I can’t speak for that tree, but the Norway is stunning and so easy to set up. Hands down my favorite tree ever. If you can fit the Norway I can’t recommend it enough! xo
