I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! We had such a nice chill day together. I didn’t want it to end! Ad flies back Saturday so the party is winding down. I’m so happy that the girls are back in a couple of weeks or I would be majorly depressed! It has been the best having them home and the family together again. I wore the same pjs on Thanksgiving that I wore to my holiday party last week. Sharing holiday party pics and details along with the gifts we all brought below!
If you’re Black Friday shopping I started a fun Amazon folder you can check out with items we have and love that would make great Christmas gifts! You’ll recognize a lot of these items I’ve shared through the years. I’ll have a post up Saturday with more sales I’m excited about. :)
ITEMS WE HAVE AND LOVE THAT WOULD MAKE FUN GIFTS
Velour Tree Pajamas/ T shirt & Joggers Set/ Butterfly Necklace/ Ugg Slippers
On to Christmas party details! I snapped this pic fast in our hallway mirror before I answered the door. Loving these cute Uggs!
So fun when my friends start arriving!
Just love them all so much.
Dress code was pjs of course. We were the green girls.
Print Flannel PJ’s / Similar Bow PJ’s
Two of my friends arrived in the bow pjs I shared earlier after seeing them on my blog.. I almost went in my bedroom to change so that I could match them! So cute. I think the bow print sold out but there are lots of other cute options in this style on sale and I found some similar bow PJ’s that just came in that are also cute!
Dinner was so good! I did my usual and had some things catered and then my friend Katy cooked the rest. :)
Table sources if you missed them in my last post!
These cute tree drink dispensers were so fun with some lemonade and cranberries. Of course my fridge was stocked with Coke Zero and Diet Coke too. :)
I didn’t do a very good job snapping pics of the food but I caught this moment when Kole came downstairs and was sneaking some food quick which showed the party spread! He was hiding out upstairs to avoid all of the commotion.. ha. Maybe he thought the blanket would disguise him more and he wouldn’t have to chat with us all? Nice try bud.
Adjustable Marble Top Servers / Kitchen Decor Sources
I had a red velvet cake and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and put them on these marble servers I love. They are on sale and perfect for entertaining! Kole loves them too. Ha.
I always have a theme for my parties and this year it was “Home for the Holidays” since my girls were both coming home and we are staying home for both holidays this year. I told everyone to bring a gift to share that is something they love using in their home!
Sleigh Serving Board / Scallop Marble Board / Tree Candle Snuffer
This is what I brought! You know I love a good serving board. :) This sleigh board was a favorite this year and I love this scallop marble board for a fun gift. I paired them with this cute tree candle snuffer! When I bought one for my kitchen I picked up a few for gifts. It’s too cute and also on sale!
Wood Tree Board / Scallop Marble Board / Tree Candle Snuffer
This is another cute gift idea where I used the scallop marble board and candle snuffer with this fun tree board. The tree board is also on sale so I picked up a couple more for Kole’s teachers. :)
I also gave some friends this Pine Spray.. smells so good! I love using it on my counters this time of year! A pack of 3 is on sale this weekend and would be a fun holiday gift paired with this cute tree dish towel. :)
Fresh Balsam Cedarwood Hand Soap
For a party favor I sent all of my friends home with my favorite hand soap. Talk about Christmas in a jar! Long time favorite in my home every holiday season as most of you know. :) It’s 30% off this weekend and another holiday gift idea!
Pantry door is currently holding favorite Christmas art from when the kids were little. :)
I snapped this pic of my pantry after the party.. serving boards and hostess gifts everywhere!
This just made me laugh. My friend Katy left me a lovely little gift. Personal joke because the first time I thew this holiday party I had Katy make her Potato Soup (my personal favorite!) and she was getting it ready to serve and asked me if I had chicken stock. I gave her a blank stare so she asked for chicken broth which was followed by another blank stare. Apparently EVERY pantry has chicken broth in it.. other than mine. Ha! So now every year she leaves me a little gift in my pantry after the party. What would I do without her? Live on pretzels, popcorn and Coke Zero no doubt. Which sounds a little too familiar. ;)
Below are the HOME favorites (or similar items) my friends brought for our gift exchange! All fun gift ideas and many are on sale. I’m excited to get my shopping started.. all online this weekend! I’m all about Black Friday shopping in Christmas pjs from my couch and hitting the mall when it’s not so busy. But if you’re facing the crowds – may the force be with you! :) I’ll share what I ordered tomorrow and let me know if you see any sales you’re excited about!
