Happy Saturday! Just a few days until Christmas Eve! I hope you’re feeling calm and mostly ready vs. exhausted and scrambling. I’ve had both kinds of Decembers and newsflash.. the first is better. ;) I’m feeling better than some years just because I actually started my wrapping early! (Love this cute paper!) I just ordered a few last minute gifts from Amazon for the kids and I still have more to wrap, but I’m hoping to knock it out this weekend so that I’m not up all night on Christmas Eve.
If you still need a few gifts that ship fast check the links below for some ideas!
A planner makes a lovely gift! Especially for planner nerds like me. :) I’m ready for 2025 with my cute little to-do notebook I’m loving and this simple desk calendar. I’m so visual that even though we keep all of the day to day stuff on our phone calendar I like to see big picture things like trips and events laid out in front of me on paper.
Before we talk more about 2025 (and all things planning and organizing!) I’m sharing a few more pics of my Christmas decor this year! I’ve added spaces I’ve already shared also so that everything is here in this one big 2024 Christmas home tour post. Apologies in advance for so many pictures! This would be a good time to grab some popcorn. :)
Come on in! Happy to have you over. :)

I added garland to our hallway mirror this year too and love how it turned out! I just used small command hooks to hold it at the top. Next year I’ll try to do a better job showing how I attach everything. I was scrambling to get my decor up fast because I had my holiday party so early before Thanksgiving this year and ran out of time!
Love this view of the mirror and garland down the hall from my office door. :)
A few more pics with lights on..
The slim trees I put in pots are my favorite new addition this year! Perfect for tight corners.

Our past Christmas cards are hanging on this side of the door and I’m going to hang friend and family cards on the other side in the mudroom. I’ll share that soon. I need to snap pics of the mudroom still and I didn’t add the bathroom and bedrooms! Never enough time. :) I hope you enjoyed the Christmas home tour this year! Have the best weekend! I know there are always so many last minute to-do’s. This season flies by so quickly.. I hope you are finding moments to just enjoy and soak it all in too!
I can’t wait to watch Rudolph this weekend. :)
Absolutely beautiful, Erin! You make Christmas magical for your family. I wish you all a wonderful holiday! Now, go rest and enjoy!
Jeanne you are the sweetest.. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family! xo
Hi Erin! Your home looks stunning this Christmas!! It’s so classy and elegant but also warm, cozy, and inviting! I am drawn to all the details…..from your gold trays with trees, to your Santa pics from years past, and your set-up behind your kitchen sink!!! My favorite part is that – as I’ve grown to “know you” through the years through your wonderful writing and sharing – I can picture your home filled with the vibrancy of having Kenny, Kole, and your girls home…. and being together is what makes your home so magical! ❤️ You convey that so well for us, and I just love following you! Merry Christmas!
Ok Amy.. bring on the tissues. I’m totally tearing up! That was the sweetest comment! I’m so touched that you feel that through my posts. Means the world to me! I’m also just so grateful you have been with me so long. Thank you! DAY MADE. :) Wishing you and your family the best Christmas and a beautiful 2025!
Beautiful home as always! I remember when you would switch out that wall collage by the front living room with Christmas pictures – Always loved that! Thanks for sharing your beautiful family and home in sunny San Diego while I’m here following along in Philly ;-) Enjoy your Christmas and Happy New Year!
Oh I love that wall and picture swap too! I need to do that again next year. :) Thank you so much Gina! Your sweet comment made my day. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Oh Erin your home is beautiful!! I love reading your blogs and seeing all of the organizational things and your beautiful decor as well as life in sunny California. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
Blessings from Texas,
Connie
Connie you are so incredibly thoughtful! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m beyond happy that you enjoy my home and posts! Plus you know we are big Texas fans at our house. :) Merry Christmas to you and your family and wishing you a beautiful 2025! xo
Erin,
Your holiday decorating-So very glam in an understated way! “Manhattan glam” comes to mind! So tasteful!
I always love whatever you decide to do for ALL the holidays!
Your decor would take me thru Feb. here in the artic! It is perfect as “winter decor”! Here, in the Artic, my Christmas is also winter decor, and it morphs into Valentine decor. I love your new, wintery, understated look! The NEW “Erin Decor”! On to Valentines Day!
I realize that in a lot of areas, Valentines Day is “springish” decor with crystal vases filled with pink and white roses, everything light and lacy….
NOT here in the Artic! Most of us are happy to leave most Christmas decor up (sans the red velvet santas) I, for one, am very happy about this since my Holiday decor is always late and this gives me time to fully enjoy it! I thrive on the Christmas /winter decor sans too much of the HO HO HO ! Reindeer and pinecones and little white lights and gold or white trees with a handful of red hearts thrown in is my “INSTANT Valentine” house wardrobe! I even have a white Santa that also gets adorned with hearts! It helps to have a Valentines Birthday in the house! Now, when it is all too much, even if I’m smelling snow in the air instead of that unmistakable “early spring scent”, end of Feb. (more likely first week of March) than DOWN it ALL goes! As quickly as possible! I do love Spring and Easter. I do love Christmas/Valentines Day. I do Love Fall! I’m just a sucker for holiday decor, I guess!
Whatever season is up, I’m often reluctant to take it down, except for Christmas/Valentines. If that is up way too long, then it becomes an omen. For MORE snowstorms when I have begun to think Spring.
Well, now I’ve rambled, but also wanted to say that I do love your friends decor with the dress form garland skirt! So ingenious! I meant to comment but the angels here were silent or mumbling or had laryngitis… My “spot decorating” was way behind. BTW “spot decorating is way harder than full room decorating. Who knew???
Merry Christmas Erin, to you and your entire amazing family inc. Peaches! We are BLESSED, Erin.
PS. I do miss your red “Merry” pillow and the Fa La La La La pillow, but I have to hand it to you to be able to change it up every Christmas. I’m a “stuck in a rut girl”. Not easy for me to change it up :(
BTW, I have the same Willow Nativity as your friend and its always in the same place. Maybe THAT is why the angels in that set have their tiny little lips pressed together rather than belting out Hark The Harald Angels Sing! Hmmmmmmm…..
Ha ha.. what would I do without your fun comments Sherri!? They make me so happy! Still chuckling at angels with laryngitis. ;) I love all holiday decor too as you know and am in no hurry to take Christmas down! Most years I wish I could just leave it up ALL YEAR. I had big plans of decorating our theatre room with all the Fa la la and merry things in total RED and ran out of time! Next year! We are blessed indeed. LOVE YOU!! And a card is coming your way if you haven’t got it yet! I was so behind with cards this year. Next year is the year I’ll finally be on top of all the things! Always hope for next year and I’m so grateful for that. Feeling pretty grateful for you and your friendship too. :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend! (Maybe the angels need some chocolate!? Just a thought.. hmmmm..)
All so beautiful! Those candles on the stairs are just such a perfect touch. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with the family!
Thank you so much Mary Jo.. I’m so happy you like it! Merry Christmas to you and your crew too! xx
How blessed you are to live in such a gorgeous house with amazing architectural features – all perfect for decorating! I love the clean but festive look you have achieved. Merry Christmas!!
Erin-I love the way you did your tables! They look full and festive but people can still see each other. I am going to (belatedly) try to mimic this look, but can you remind me where you got the two pairs of wooden candle holders from? I remember seeing them in past posts but can’t find them.
Thank you so much and happy new year!
Bonnie
Hi Bonnie! So sorry I’m just seeing your question! I bought those from World Market years ago and I don’t think they sell them anymore. Sorry that’s not much help! Wishing you a beautiful 2025! XO
I absolutely love your decorating style, everything is beautiful. Did you share a pic of your viral Home Depot tree decorated?
You are so kind Melissa! Thank you! I didn’t really decorate it much this year! I added few simple ornaments and called it good because I just wanted the lights in my bedroom. :) I already have fun ideas for it for next year.. ha! Enjoy your weekend! xo
