1 – NIGHT KITCHEN WINDOW
Happy Saturday! Can you believe we are 10 days away from Christmas Eve!? Is it just me or is December flying by way too quickly? I really need this month to be 3 months long. At least! It just feels like too much to cram into such a short time period! Here’s to making the most of the next 10 days!
I’m sharing a fun round-up today and kicking things off with my beloved kitchen window at night!
I kept it pretty simple this year with just my birch trees, the cutest little mercury houses and candles. Always a favorite spot during the holidays and the only time of year I don’t dread washing the pots and pans. :)
My cedar garland sold out but the norfolk garland is over 60% off and just $20 a strand! Smart time to pick some up for next year. Candles and snowflakes are also on sale!
2 – GIFT IDEAS
A few fun gifts I’ve shared before that are favorites around here.. coziest sock slippers!
Olaplex bonding oil is a staple for me and my girls and makes a perfect stocking stuffer!
I picked up another blanket for a gift. It’s our family favorite at the moment!
Here is a better shot of it.. the coziest!
I was wrapped up in the white one while we were watching Die Hard the other night. Is it or is it not a Christmas movie? Kenny says no and I say yes.. ha.
Mac eyeshadow palettes always make a fun gift for girls!
These are a few more of the cute Target pillows I mentioned last week. I got Kole the taco.. his favorite food! So cute for tween/teen gifts.
Kole has been loving his tree night light in the upstairs hallway. He is at that age that he acts like he isn’t into things like this but he still totally is. Ha.
I ordered this to help with gift wrapping this year. Excited to try it! It looks like certain colors will get here before Christmas if you want to try it this year too. I’ll let you know if I love it!
New sneakers for my crew this year and this is the pair Addison and I will be seeing under the tree! LOVE them.
3 – AMAZON TEEN GIFTS/MONEY TREE
Ok.. if time is short and you still need teen gifts I updated my teen gift idea Amazon folder with so many fun ideas! Lots of things we have and love along with items I just ordered for this year. :)
You can also go with a gift card/money tree.. always a hit with teens! This tree above is a cute size. I think the flocked version is still in stock. I added a couple of good money tree options in my teen gift folder too! You can check it out here: AMAZON TEEN GIFT IDEAS
My cute nieces and nephews with trees from Aunt Erin a while back. I added gift cards and money this time around because I’m tricky like that. :) Love this crew.
4 – TARGET WRAP/SPRING FAVS
I just picked up the cutest gift wrap at Target! This collection from Sugar Paper is adorable. You can see everything I bought in a collection I put together here –
This flat rattan tray will be perfect for organizing in January (thinking bathroom drawers!) and I love the brass book holder. I use book holders to hold family pictures and art too! The accent rug is beautiful and will be perfect for my porch when Christmas does finally come down.
This
with handles is so beautiful in person! (Doesn’t look as good on-line but trust me on this one!) I love the texture and size. I might toss some greenery and Christmas ornaments in it just so I can use it now! Perfect for a coffee table.5 – OFFICE PARTY
We had a party or event every night but Thursday this last week so I’m feeling a little socially drained.. and I’m more of an extrovert.. ha. Hats off to all of the introverts out there during December. I hope you’re hanging in there! ;) My pearl bow purse has been with me every night and was a perfect accessory for Kenny’s office party.
The party was at Petco Park this year and I’m so bummed I didn’t take more pics! It was a really cool venue with a beautiful view. So much fun to catch up with everyone.
Kenny gave his annual speech/toast to all the partners and associates. I haven’t shared a lot about his childhood/background/story.. (maybe someday!) but he has worked incredibly hard to get to where he’s at in his life/career and I’m so proud of him. I always have a proud wife moment when I see him doing his thing at work. Especially knowing how much he cares about his firm and loves his clients and the people he works with.
I was 15 when I met him and we started hanging out (17 in this pic I think?) so I’ve had a front row seat to it all. I still feel like we are this age and deep down about this mature just pretending to be adults. Ha. Us then..
and now. :)
6 – FAVORITE THINGS PARTY
Another fun Favorite Things Party this week and my friend Megan’s house was decked so cute I have to share! How creative is the tree skirt on her porch!?
Everything was red and pink and this was such a gorgeous spread!
Fun wreaths with bows on her cabinet doors!
I also loved this idea for shelves. Pink and red paper in frames really pop and kept the color scheme going throughout her home!
A fun way to display holiday cards!
Her home was beautiful and it was such a fun night! We talked and laughed for hours. Below are the gifts everyone brought. All SO GOOD! I got lots of ideas for my girls and a few things I’m excited to try! Happy shopping and wrapping and partying and enjoying all the December festivities this weekend! And if you’re cozy next to the fire with a good Christmas movie on enjoy that too! My girls come home next week and then that’s exactly what I’m planning to do for the rest of the month! The best. :) I’ll be back soon with some decor I haven’t shared yet. Did I mention December is never long enough?
Maybe next year I’ll start decorating in August.
Kidding! Kind of. ;)
