Hello from Texas! Kole and El had the same spring break this week and Ellie hasn’t been to Texas to see her sister this year so we decided that since the whole family couldn’t go on a trip together the 4 of us would just travel to Texas for a few days! So fun being with my crew all together again (I know all moms of older kids get it!). We spent one afternoon at Magnolia and timed it just right with weather. Everything was so beautiful! Sharing some pics I took below! Major spring vibes and if you are still mucking your way through winter let these pics get you by until you start seeing spring in your neck of the woods!
Before we head outside though we need to do some shopping together. Hello gorgeous home decor! This store is TOO much fun.
Ad is the only one who will shop with me and she only lasted about 15 minutes. Ha. I could look at home decor for hours! But I was strong and left after 30 min. Only because I know I’ll be back! :)
Stores like this are my happy place.
I wanted to take it all home! When you visit Magnolia if you spend over $100 they will ship things for free. Most of it you can get on their website too! Their new spring collection is so good this year!
These are some of the items I was most excited about! You’ll see a few of these around my house soon. :)
The last time we were here it was raining so it felt like such a treat to get a gorgeous sunny day!
Everything in the gardens was in full bloom.. gorgeous!
Pop’s lemonade is always a staple when we visit!
The boys and El had fun chilling on the grass and playing games while Ad and I were shopping. A beautiful day at Magnolia!
The next morning we ate at Magnolia Table. We haven’t been there before! We went around 10 am so it was their brunch menu and it was AMAZING. There are about 10 things on the menu I want to try so we will definitely go again next time we visit! Excited to try the dinner menu too. If you are planning a trip make sure to book the restaurant early! Spots fill up quickly. I got our reservation about a week in advance.
That afternoon we went on a tour of Baylor with our favorite Baylor tour guide. :) So funny because when Kenny and I were visiting colleges with the kids we always said to each other that we could totally see Addison giving tours one day. It’s so her! She loves people, she loves getting involved in school activities and public speaking comes so easily to her. Feels full circle to see her working as one now! We didn’t tell the other people on the tour we were her family because we didn’t want to throw her off her game.. ha. I tried to not stand too close to her because I’ve been told we kinda look alike. ;) Ellie got to see her dorm later that day and we took some of her cute friends to dinner. So fun being in her world for a few days! Proud of my college girls and all the new fun things they are doing.
Good-bye Waco! Until next time.
:)
