Hi friends! I’m working on a post but keep getting distracted watching our news. With eight fires burning in our city the past few days have been eventful to say the least. I always get nervous when these Santa Ana winds come our way. They are never a good thing! So many of our friends have been evacuated and schools are all closed tomorrow. Praying they can get these fires contained soon. I’m rounding up a few things just in case, but hopefully tomorrow will just be a pajama day for us. So strange to have the kids home on a random Thursday! Southern California’s version of a snow day. :)
If the fires have slowed down and I can get my girls to entertain Kole for a few minutes tomorrow I’ll be popping back in! Keep San Diego in your thoughts today! And hug your kids. Because that’s what I always tend to do when slightly stressful situations pop up.

Fingers crossed that you all will remain safe and sound and in your home. I grew up in Southern California and remember well all the fire danger with those Santa Anas!!
I am definitely praying for the safety of you and your family and your entire area. I live in NC where we deal with hurricanes and tornadoes. I can’t imagine what that must be like with fires but I pray that they will get them contained like now!!! Wish I could send rain, just enough to handle the fire, not enough to make things muddy :-(

Erin, we heard about the San Diego fires last night on the national news, and of course, my first thought was you and your family (and your new home!) I pray that the fires will end very soon!! I hope you are located far away from them. Please stay safe and celebrate your pajama time with your three babies!!!
This weather is so crazy this year! Here in Temecula, we can see all the smoke from Carlsbad and Fallbrook. It makes me so sad and we are definitely praying that everyone is safe and they can get all the fires under control. Many hugs to everyone!

I hope you are all okay! We were supposed to be in San Diego for a wedding today, but we all got the flu and didn’t make it. I’m thinking it’s probably a good thing we didn’t go. Prayers heading in your direction.
