Happy Monday friends! We’ve had a weekend of pj’s and couch time with sick kids. My kitchen is a mess, my bedroom is a mess and there is laundry piled so high I don’t want to even go there. El snapped this picture with her phone today.. she’s actually feeling fine. My two other little sidekicks shown here.. not so much. Poor things. Ad is doing much better but Kole will be home with me tomorrow and we are heading to the dr. first thing! Never fun when kids are sick. The upside is that we had a major Star Wars marathon (I think it was part of the love story when this picture was taken – those are the parts Ad and I perk up during) and I was able to get a new post ready for you. It will be coming sometime on Monday so pop back in if you have time! Tonight I’m off to bed. I think I slept a total of 4 hours this weekend and this mom needs some rest! Along with a fairy to help my sick kids sleep through the night and then magically whip my house back into shape.
On a quick side note: I can’t thank you all enough for your sweet words on the blog, Instagram and Facebook about my office decor post! It was so fun hearing from so many of you! Makes me want to do a room reveal every day! But then I wouldn’t just be sleep deprived.. I’d be dead. :) Seriously though. Thank you. You are all so supportive and kind and I’ve always known I have the best blog readers in all of blog land.

Awwww, I’m so sorry to hear about your kiddos getting sick. I hope they are right as rain very, very soon. The house can wait, that is for sure. Helping them feel better is the priority. Then Mom getting her rest. HUGS!!

I’m so sorry your kiddos are sick! Be sure to take care of you, too, momma, so you don’t catch what they have! My Marley girl had bronchitis that turned into pneumonia and ended up missing TWO WEEKS of school! (And she’s an 8th grader in all 9th grade classes, so HOLY HOMEWORK!)
Now I’ve got her sickness – I was laid up all weekend myself. Doc doubled me up on meds, though to try to knock it out quicker, since Marley’s was so severe. We’ll see how it goes. Hope your sweeties feel better soon! And fingers & toes crossed for that magic house-cleaning fairy. If you find her, send her my way when you get done with her. *wink* XOXO

Oh poor kids and you! I dealt with the same thing this weekend, it was all fun and games until my 4 year old threw up in the car. Good times! Hopefully everyone in your house starts feeling better!

As soon as I saw the picture, I knew your little buddy was under the weather. Hope they are on the mend. I am desperately trying to avoid germs here as it seems everyone we hang out witb ia dropping like flies.
I look forward to your organization post. It will be a bright spot as I’m trying to dig out from Mt. Laundry. I figure the buzzer on my last load should go off about 10 seconds after I die. Ha ha. Seriously though, it is insane how quickly it multiplies. Stay well! I love the picture your daughter took. :)

Sorry for sick kiddos…same here. :( I love this picture for so many reasons, but my favorite part of this picture is your Ad’s mismatched PJs! I think SO many of us do this–our kids are all running around in mismatched PJs and we might all think we are the only ones doing that! My 4yr old LIKES his PJs not to match! I just love seeing the most organized person I “know” with a kid in mismatched PJs doing a normal mom thing, with laundry taunting, Dr. visit looming, and still taking in the moment.
