Happy Thursday friends! Excited for today’s post! Ellie and I went shopping. We had a good reason. Not that we need a good reason, but this time we had one.
(a long time favorite quote of mine) :)
El had worked hard to earn some money and knew what she wanted. March is my birthday month and I knew what I wanted. Not our best pic above, but we only had time to take one because we were busy hitting our favorite stores. One of my all time favorites? Anthropologie. When I say that name do you immediately smell the Anthro smell? If not, you need their candle. :)
Volcano (Capri Blue) is the smell of their store and I’m obsessed with it. (First picked it up at our Favorites Party 2014.)
Aside from the smell, I adore everything they sell. I could get lost in that store for hours! I don’t buy clothes from Anthro often because they are pricey, but every once in a while (like during my b-day month – yea!) I splurge on a few favorites. I also shop their on-line sales from time to time and have found some really fun things marked down. Last summer I took you all shopping with me to World Market (another favorite of mine) and today we are all shopping together at Antrho! Go ahead. Cheer with me now. :) Excited to show you some of my current favorites from this beloved store!
These are the three clothing items I walked away with. I can’t find the striped top on-line (leave it to me to find the one striped item in the store) but here are the other two I fell in love with…
K. I know you might be looking at this navy utility jumpsuit thinking huh? But I thought it looked kinda fun so I tried it on. And that’s when I fell in love. It has such a great fit! Really cute. It’s different from my norm and I love that. I’ll show you a pic with it on soon. It’s just fun. I love it with my peep toe booties.
I also fell in love with this cute Chevron pullover sweater. Love the material. It’s on the short side and I like it best over another shirt. I’ll snap a pic and show you how I’m going to wear it soon.
I didn’t buy these coral Chino Capris but they are on my wish list! SO cute for Spring! I love this color with my new chevron sweater.
The Chino capris are new in for Spring and come in lots of colors. My other favorite is the mint. So cute with the black and white striped top! I happen to have a few of those. :) I also tried on and loved this cute white tie front button down blouse. Maybe next trip! I can only do so much damage in this store at one time or my husband won’t let me go back. #truth #thatwouldbedevastating
Another Anthropologie favorite of mine? Their towels. LOVE them. They are huge and so soft and the patterns are gorgeous. I have had my eye on these two patterns for a while now and finally bought them. You’ll see how I’m decorating with them soon! They are so pretty they need to be displayed. ;) (Coral Towels – Malvina Collection/Grey Towels – Marigold Collection)
Fun finds this trip!
Two other things I have in my on-line cart that are on sale..
This cute diamond leather belt. And I love these cuff bracelets.
Anyone remember this? My long time readers. :) It’s from my kitchen in my last house. I’ve always loved Anthro dishtowels! Such a fun way to add some color and whimsy to your kitchen.
This one is a favorite that I know will come home with me at some point.
Anthropologie bowls have always been a staple at my house too. I love to decorate with them.
Their latte bowls are my very favorite. I have several of the colors. They are the perfect size and I like the solid color for decorating. The indents give them some dimension and style.
Here’s another flashback from my previous house. Wow! Is that blue bright enough!? Ha! Still love aqua but I toned it down a bit in the new house. ;) Most of the things on this shelf are from Anthro. Their Monogramed Mugs are another staple around my house. All of their coffee mugs and teacups are so beautiful and such a fun way to add life to open shelving.
I also use their latte bowls to organize things!
I think I need them in coral. They even come with Cheerios. Although we have enough of those all over my kitchen floor on a daily basis..
I have a few bowls in the Gloriosa collection and LOVE them. I’d love the whole set. Also the serve ware! Too much fun.
Excited to show you an upcoming little project that my Anthro nut bowls were perfect for! Not for nuts. :)
Last one from the archives. Promise. :) Anthro aprons might be one of my all time favorite things from their store. Which is especially amusing since I hate cooking. :) But I’ve given them so many times as gifts for friends who do like to cook. For those of us who aren’t feeling it so much? They make darling kitchen decor!
So many cute aprons but this one and this one are my current personal favs.
My sister knows how much I love Anthro kitchen decor and gave me a rolling pin for Christmas one year. So cute to display! My mom bought me a real rolling pin. Who’s gift gets used more? ;)
Love this one.
I recently shared my decorated office/craft room and proclaimed my love for Anthro hardware. I’m trying to come up with a fun way to use these Whimsy Monogramed Hooks simply because they are too adorable to not have in my house!
I always check out the pillows at Anthro when I’m in their store. Sometimes they get a little wild for my taste, but the Full Sun Pillows and their Folding Fans Pillows are right up my alley. So cute for Spring!
This cute hand towel is in my on-line cart and this Barr-Co hand soap and lotion came home with me for my upstairs laundry room. (Almost done decorating that space!)
Have you all seen this Watercolor Peony wallpaper all over blog land and Pinterest? So many of my friends have used it in their homes and I adore it! Anthro has beautiful wallpaper. A little pricey, but sometimes you can just do one statement wall or a small space (like I did in my powder bathroom) to make a statement.
A few other fun items I have my eye on..
Alice in Wonderland is my all time favorite so I know this fun and whimsical calendar will belong to me. It’s just a matter of time. :)
And this pretty grocery and meal planner!? It seriously makes my heart beat faster. I bet I’d be better at meal planning if I could do it on this notepad. Anyone else with me on this? Did you know Anthro has an entire section on-line dedicated to organizing and storage!? It’s obviously my favorite place to hang out. :)
They even have my favorite planner in stock! (Read this post for planner details.)
And they have darling notepads. Just sayin’… :) I’m going to have to start giving out my notepads as gifts because I’m starting to become a bit of a notepad hoarder. But these are adorable and someone needs to own them. If none of you volunteer that someone might have to be me.
More fun office supplies. Mint love!
And I’ll end with one last favorite. These You and Me bookends are so fun for a master bedroom! Or anywhere else for that matter. You might see them pop up in my home at some point. Probably. Most likely. Ok.. I’m buying them now. ;)
As you can see I adore Anthropologie! I know most of you who have been reading for a while know that. It’s such a fun store. Even if your style isn’t quite as bohemian as Anthro tends to be, you can still add so many of their accessories for fun pops of color and whimsy.
I had fun shopping with you all today! I’d love to hear.. do you all feel the same way I do about Anthropologie? Do you buy their clothes or home items more? Anyone else intoxicated by the smell alone? Or is it just me?
I can live with that.
:)

Lots of great ideas and products, Erin. I have never been, in person or online, so I will go by what you say and share. I do like those bowls with the indentations and the fan pillows look lovely. I think that picture of the two of you is terrific. And the quote made me giggle. Your love of Anthro comes through loud and clear and having fun shopping with your daughter is definitely has got to be of the best perks there is! Thanks so much for sharing!! :)
Jeanne! You really haven’t been to Anthro!? You need to find one and check it out! I wish I could take you for the first time. Such a fun store and I have a feeling the two of us would have a blast together. :) xo
LOVE Anthro! You got some good finds! March is my bday month too! We’ll celebrate in April!🌴😉💃🏻
Xo
What day Shauna!? LOVE that we are both March birthdays! Celebrating in April FOR SURE. Can’t wait! xo
Oh now I want to go to Anthropology!
I have a bridal shower coming up..I’ve been deciding what to do.. perfect apron and rolling pin. . Soo cute!
Such a fun store isn’t it Heidi!? I agree.. those are perfect gifts for a bridal shower! xo
Lovely eye candy – fun post! ☺️ May I ask where you found your hand towel rack? That’s a great kitchen solution to keep little hands from grabbing them and throwing them on the floor. Haha!
Thank you so much Nikki! That rack was from Tai Pan years ago. Yes.. a good solution for sure! :) xo
Oh, my garage has two BOBs, too, and like you, I just can’t imagine parting with them yet! We still need the single, and at times, I squish my two in the double, so they are still “in use” now…..but I totally get where you are coming from. So many miles, so many sweet memories. Oh, lordy, now I’m getting all sappy! On another note, I wish we had the garage space you have! When/if we ever build, a 4-car garage is on my list!
“So many miles, so many sweet memories”.. that is EXACTLY how I feel! My double BOB was my life line for so many years! You get it. :) We will have to part with them together! And then head to counseling. Ha! ;) xo
Erin, I hate to complain but wanted to give you honest feedback about a problem that your ads are creating. I understand you make money off advertising and I want you to be able to do that, however it’s a real nuisance because somehow it’s making my macbook pro freeze up, and even though my computer preferences are set to block popup ads, yours are somehow getting through. And they are so distracting because they blink and wont close, as I am trying to read your blog post. This happened and before complaining to you, I wanted to see if maybe it was something with my computer, so I did a clean sweep for any viruses etc, and sure enough, it happened again right after I went back to your site. There is a possibility that it is something with my own computer, but I really think its something with your ads. Best regards to you.
Hi Kelly! Oh no! So sorry to hear this! Are you talking about my homepage on your desktop computer or my mobile ads? I don’t have any pop up ads on my blog (other than my newsletter subscribe page) on my desktop so I’m not sure what’s going on? I’ll look into things and see if anyone else says anything! Thanks for letting me know. xo
I wanted to comment on this same issue. I understand why bloggers do advertising and it’s something to get used to as a reader, but yours is the only site where I have issues reading your posts on my phone. I use bloglovin’ and I have to click over to your site to open the full post and most the time it instantly freezes and I have to quit the app. On the rare occasion it will open the post to read, I can’t scroll without accidentally clicking on a video that pops up and once again, I have to quit and exit the site. I’ve had better luck going to your site on my computer, but that’s not how I read blogs anymore so I get way behind and don’t check yours very often. Just wanted you to know in case there’s a way to fix the page for mobile viewing. Thanks
Thank you so much for letting me know Shelly! I’m so sorry to hear you have been having problems. I forwarded your e-mail along to my ad agency and we are working to fix the problem! xo
Love anthro!! I always look at the clothes, I need to start checking out the home decor and dishes!
Yes you do Leigh! They are my absolute favorite! Such a fun store. :) xo
Erin,
I’ve never been to an Anthropologie store!! I love all the items you have described on your blog in the past! I just looked at their website to see if there are any stores in Missouri, and they have them in St. Louis and Kansas City. I will have to plan a trip, for sure!!

Oh my word Jane! Wish I could go with you for the first time! You will love it! Send me a pic if you ever plan a trip. :) xo
I have the floral print apron and love it! I also have the matching oven mitt. Couldn’t help myself!
Ha! Love it Jess! Totally get it. :) And now I need to buy that apron! xo
I love Anthro! My bday is this month also – what day is yours? Did you get your Anthro bday discount? Enjoy your purchases. :)
Yes! I love getting my b-day discount! My b-day is tomorrow… the 11th. Happy Birthday to you too this month! :) xo
I, too, have never been to Anthro! Maybe we should start a club! March is my bday month, now might be a good time to go. Do you have to sign up for a bday discount or just tell them in store or online?
Oh my word.. we do need a club! I want to take you all! :) You just tell them your b-day (they ask in the store when you buy something) and then every year they send a b-day coupon. It’s only 15% off but it does make a difference! xo
Your new clothes are cute! Love those coral capris…I think you need to get those:)
Thank you Sue! I think so too. ;) xo
Great post! Do you mind sharing where you got the metal tray with handle centerpiece for your dining room table where you stacked the cute dishes?
Thank you Tanya! That was a find from Down East Outfitters Home store (outlet) in southern Utah. Kind of random I know! xo
Love it all, Erin!! Great finds🙌
Thanks so much cutie! Emailing you soon. :) xo

Hi Erin – love your blog I am a long time reader.
Sorry if you have answered this before, can you let us know where your to got the really neat piece that is holding the bowls on your dining room table?
Thanks!
Hi Sarah! Thank you so much! Kind of random.. I found that at a Down East Home outlet store last summer when I was visiting my family in Utah. I wish I had a link to share with you! It was the only one they had. xo
