I hope your week is off to a good start! We just got back from a quick weekend trip to Seattle. We were only there 3 days but packed a lot in including the Taylor Swift concert.. so good! I’ve been on a high from that night ever since! I’ll share a few pics soon. We got home late last night so today was an unpack, clean, laundry, grocery, re-group sort of day. While I was cleaning I snapped a few pictures of recent favorites around the house that I’m excited about! Starting with this cute new rug for my mudroom. I actually ordered this rug for my backyard (and it still might end up there!) but I opened it in my mudroom and it just sort of looked like it belonged and wanted to stay.
So I let it. :)
I love this rug because it’s such a great neutral and works with everything, but the pattern adds a little something extra. I usually have a runner against our locker drawers in this room, but my runners always get in the way of the garage door so it’s fun to mix it up and add a larger rug for the room like this sometimes.
Door clearance.. check!

I shared these entertaining favorites in a recent post and have been using them non-stop this summer!
Especially these 3 go-to’s.

Cute serve ware isn’t it!? Whenever I think of summer the first thing that pops into my head is snacks. NON-STOP snacks. Ha. I feel like fixing snacks is about all I do in a day and I know most moms can relate! I put this together in minutes today before I picked up Kole and his friends from a morning camp. I can get snacks here so quickly with Walmart.com and it has saved me time and time again this summer (especially on days like today when we have no food in the house!). When I order groceries on-line from the app I love their substitutions feature. You can choose what product substitutions you do or don’t want (so you always know exactly what you are getting), place the order and then pick it up or have it delivered. GAME CHANGER.
Snacks on the upstairs deck today! I moved these cute outdoor canopy chairs up to this spot about a month ago after enjoying them by the pool for a while. They have been a great solution to add more shade to this sunny spot!
This deck if off of my girls’ bedrooms and they love chilling out here with each other and friends. I can always hear laughter coming from this deck when I’m in the kitchen with the window open and it makes me smile! I love having my girls both home and together again.
I recently ordered this little end table that’s perfect for outdoors and exactly what we needed to hold snacks and drinks. It’s a great price, durable and can be used indoors too! So cute.
I love that this saving set has a spot for toothpicks. It’s the little things. :)
A great spot to sit and enjoy the view!
While we’re talking Walmart favorites here are a few more I’ve been loving. :)

This little bar cart is the best! I’ve only had this a few weeks and have already used it several times.
Another great neutral Walmart rug. This pic was from last fall but seeing the mini white pumpkins makes me excited for things to come! I have absolutely loved this rug. Very durable and the stripe works with everything.

This set of dishes is another favorite and so good for the price! They are beautiful, great quality and I love having them displayed out on shelves when we aren’t using them.
Love the two toned look. So good!
Fall is around the corner and my cute pumpkin bowls are back in stock! Definitely favorites and they sold out quickly last year so I had to share.
Enjoy your day and I’ll be back soon! :)
Congratulations on getting to the Taylor Swift concert, even though you had to travel to get there. One of my girls was asked to go with a friend (lucky) and the other tried to snag a ticket and was unsuccessful(in more ways than one). That Ticketmaster fiasco was no joke! Luckily a few friends who did go were able to facetime my daughter so she could kind of sort of feel like she was there. This daughter is going to several other concerts starting this week, so she isn’t concert challenged. LOL Love your Walmart finds. The rugs look amazing and the view from your rooftop deck is spectacular. Guess the sun decided to come out and play finally! Hope you have an amazing week!
Ha ha.. happy for both of your daughters! Concerts are always a good time. :) Thank you so much Jeanne! xo
Erin, could you share how you clean your rugs if you do more than just vacuum them? I find that even if I vacuum my rugs they get that dingy dark areas where there’s more traffic.
I just vacuum and spot clean mine!
Erin,
Just love the canopy chairs on that balcony! Perfect and especially with that view! So lovely!
I also wanted to mention that even now that you have your new sponsor, MC, which is quite something, you still do a wonderful job at displaying and showing ways to use some of the more regular, every day products. Actually a wonderful job! The price points are varied, making your blog especially unique!
Welcome back home! :-)
Oh what a sweet thing to say Sherri! Thank you! Your thoughtful comments mean a lot. :) xo
hi Erin, I’m just catching up on some of your posts.Love all the new items. Boy that pool sure looks inviting and a great spot to sit with the canopy chairs. Congrats on your new sponsoring with MC, I just love their products. And a sale on them is even better. Haha. I can’t believe how fast the summer is going by, but I am so looking forward to changing my decor to fall. Have a wonderful rest of the summer.
Thank you so much Denise! So fun hearing from you! I agree.. this summer has flown by in a blink! Very excited about fall decorating too. :)
