Pretty in Pink Easter Table

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

Sharing my Easter table this year! My girls will both be home for Easter so looking forward to a fun weekend with the family and a beautiful home cooked meal! Or take-out on a beautiful table. I’ll let you pick which one you think will be the case at our house. ;)

I was feeling soft pinks this year and love how it turned out. I used my pink magnolia branches for the centerpiece (they were so pretty for all of February too and are on sale right now! The vase holding them is also on sale.) I’m going to just leave my table set up through Easter because we can have dinner here a few times before and it’s pretty to walk by every day!

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I ordered these eyelet plates last year from Anthro and this year I’m obsessed with their white bow plates! Anthro always has such cute plate options. I knew I wanted bunny ear napkin rings for Easter and found so many cute options I couldn’t decide so I ordered 3 to try! The first option is this burlap set. Adorable and they match my chargers.Ā

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

These cute white porcelain bunny napkin rings are option 2. So pretty with the gold inside the ears! I love them with white plates.Ā

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

And option #3 is this pretty gold set. All so cute right!? I still can’t decide! Which is your favorite? I’m leaning towards the white. Or the jute. Or the gold. ;)Ā

If choosing which bunny ear napkin holder we wanted to use for our Easter table was the biggest decision we had to make in a day life would be pretty good right!? Ha.Ā

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

{Flower Napkin Rings, Silverware (similar), Linen Napkins, Plates (similar),Blush Taper Candles, Bunny Candle Holders, Glass Bunny, Cake Stand}

Ok ONE more napkin ring option! I ordered these flower napkin rings for the wedding shower I’m hosting in a couple of weeks. Aren’t they pretty!? Love these too! After Easter I’ll switch the bunny napkin rings to these and my table will be set for spring/summer!Ā

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up){Bunny Napkin Rings, Silverware (similar), Linen Napkins, Plates (similar),Blush Taper Candles, Bunny Candle Holders, Glass Bunny, Cake Stand}

I love this pretty scalloped cake stand and the bunny candle holders I shared earlier.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I haven’t switched up much in my dining room. Same lamps and art but I did add this beautiful handwoven tray a few months ago. It’s large and so gorgeous! Definitely a splurge but one of those items that I know will look beautiful in many spots in my home for years to come!Ā

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I was going to add some grass and eggs and bunnies but it’s so pretty on its own that I might just leave it as is for a while!

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up){Bunny Napkin Rings, Silverware (similar), Linen Napkins, PlatesĀ (similar),Blush Taper Candles, Bunny Candle Holders, Glass Bunny, Cake Stand, Vase, Magnolia Branch, Bench (similar), Dining Chairs, Sideboard Table, Square Pendant, Linen Pillow, Textured Pillow, Jute Rug, Throw Blanket}

I took all of these pictures and then realized I forgot to set out the drinking glasses! Ha. I hope my guests aren’t thirsty. ;) At least I remembered the eggs and bunnies.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)Acrylic Vase Flower Holder, Pink Glassware

Last year I used these same plates and chargers and napkins and my pretty acrylic vase full of tulips for a centerpiece. AND these are my pink glasses that I’m using again this year.

Just picture these glasses on my current Easter table and I’ll feel better. ;)

I hope this table gave you some ideas for spring and Easter dining this year!

Now I need all of you to give me some ideas for the meal. ;)

Sunday Edit

Happy Sunday! I hope you find some time to rest today! So many pretty dresses and fun spring finds in today’s round-up. I also found some cute affordable sandals and Easter decor. (Also my bracelet in the first collage is on sale!) I can’t believe Easter is right around the corner. How are we already over half way through March!? I feel like I just got my Christmas decor put away. Probably because I kind of did. Ha. ;)

Have a great start to your week!

Saturday 6

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Saturday from our trail! Everything is so beautiful right now from all the rain we got last week! I hope things are getting warmer for all of you too.. sunshine brings out the best in all of us. :) On to today’s Saturday 6!

1 – EASTER BASKET FOR FRIENDS/TEENS

Bunny Basket (Sunny Side Up)

Easter Basket Gifts (ALL SOURCES)

This bunny basket is the cutest! I put together some fun little Easter baskets for my college girls and thought I would share what I’m giving them in case these ideas help with baskets you’re giving! I’m also thinking about giving a few of these bunny baskets to friends with some of these same products and a little chocolate. I tied a pink ribbon at the top and it makes a perfect gift for any loved one! (I linked the ribbon I used too along with some similar baskets in case this one sells out!)

Best Beauty Products (Sunny Side Up)

These are the items inside – all products I personally love and beauty best sellers on Amazon! Plus some cute heart bookmarks and my favorite Amazon bracelets. You can’t go wrong with this line up. :)

Bunny Basket (Sunny Side Up)

It fit perfectly! I still need to put something together for Kole.. boys are so much harder right!? Especially teen boys. I’ll come up with something and share it when I do but if you have ideas for me please share!

2 – ORGANIZED BATHROOM DRAWERS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

My bathroom drawers were next level bad and so overdue for a clean out! I usually clean and organize all bathrooms every January but I didn’t this year because my girls were home on break so long. I had so many new products piling up inside and finally just dumped everything on my bathroom floor so I could get things under control!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I washed out all the organizers which felt amazing! I’ve been trying this stone drying mat lately (going through a dish drying mat phase at the moment.. ha). It’s SO good! For starters I don’t mind leaving it out on my counter because I like the look of it. It’s heavy and nice but the best part is how quick it dries! Water hits it and instantly evaporates. It rolls up easily to store too. I still love and use this one also, but it’s not big enough for when I need to wash a lot of dishes.

Sidenote: Remember this cute faux plant I bought and shared last spring? It’s back in stock! It sold out so quickly so I had to share it before it’s gone again. This is a horrible picture so I’ll try to share a better one soon. It’s CUTE.

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

Organized Bathroom Drawers – SOURCES

Looking so much better!

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

{Favorite Hair Brush}

When I’ve lived with clutter inside my drawers for a while I crave simplicity and LESS. I have a lot of products I’m rotating and trying in my bottom drawer, but my top every day drawers are holding just the essentials and it feels so good! I won’t bore you will all of my organized drawers.. AGAIN. Ha. You can see what they all look like in this post along with organizer sources!

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

{Large Pill Organizer}

Also sidenote.. I started taking some fish oil supplements with my daily vitamin since I eat zero fish and the pills are so big! I couldn’t find an organizer that held them well until I found this one. It comes in other colors too! A random good find.

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

25 Piece Organizers

I gave my powder bathroom drawers a quick clean out too! Kole uses this drawer in the morning on his way out the door. I also added all the toothbrushes we’ve collected from dentist visits. Perfect to have on hand for guests who stay over! I used the organizers I shared in this blog post. LOVE them because they don’t move! They have grips on the bottom. I’m very temped to switch my bathroom organizers over to these but I need longer sizes. (Kole likes this hair paste.. there’s a teen boy Easter basket idea for you!) ;)

3 – BATHROOM RE-FRESH

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Skin Care Favorites, Scalloped Towel, Makeup Brush Holder, Bathroom Counter Organizer

After I cleaned out my drawers I added some cute things for a little bathroom re-fresh! I had an organizer in the middle of my bathroom counter but Kenny kept using it too so I decided to try these little corner organizers for us so we can each have our own. I was mid organizing when I took this picture so I needed to add more, but it’s mostly to hold my favorites from Colleen Rothschild that I use daily. I’ve shared these items many times before and have been using them for years! My favorites are all linked HERE and for a short time you can get 20% off (on any products on her website) using the code ERIN20 at checkout! If you’re only going to try one thing try the Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream that is the first item I linked. It’s SO GOOD! Gets rid of dark circles and tired eyes. I love the complete eye cream too. And her Vitamin C! And the Sheer Renewal Cream (I put it on in the am before makeup). You’ve heard me talk about the hair mask for years (I love giving that as a gift too!).

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Peek in my shower to see my beloved hair mask. Two of my friends gave me the Salt & Stone body wash and Rituals shower gel for my birthday. I’m loving them both! I’ve used Rituals before.. it smells amazing.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I added this cute rug too to match the towels. :)

4 – SPRING COFFEE TABLE

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Real Touch Fake Tulips

I’m still working on my coffee table and while I don’t know if I’ll add tulips on this table I do know these will be in my home somewhere! They are such a good faux tulip option! What I love about these is that the tulip bulbs are different sizes giving them a more realistic look. I ordered them in white and loved them so much I also ordered some in pink and purple. I’ll show you how I’m using them soon!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

New favorite coffee table book! All things LEMON.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)Coffee Table, Lemon Book, Woven Tray, Made for Living Book, Fabric Boxes, Fabric Boxes (similar)Ā

I got these pretty fabric boxes and the woven tray for Christmas this year and still need to style the tray for spring!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Faux Cherry Blossom Branch, Rattan Vase (similar)Ā

I put together this pretty arrangement with some long time favorite branches. They are so beautiful! They require no styling and just effortlessly hang to the side. Spring perfection! Not an option keeping them on our coffee table since we wouldn’t be able to see the TV.. ha.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

They landed up on my fireplace mantel. :)

5 – PILLOW LOVE

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

For Christmas I also splurged on this pillow cover I had my eye on for over a year! I don’t like spending a lot on pillows because I enjoy switching them up often. Target is usually my go-to pillow spot, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this one. The pattern was just too perfect for spring!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)Pillow Cover, Pillow Cover LookalikeĀ

Last week I was looking for some other home items on Amazon and look what I found!? It’s a total lookalike for a fraction of the price! I felt such a mix of happiness and annoyance that I spent so much and didn’t need to! I love this pattern so much that I bought the Amazon set for my front living room in a larger size.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

You can see that the tone is a little more pink/red than the other pillow which actually works well with this fun pink I’m bringing in. I love them!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I need to switch these two bottom throws for spring colors but I just added this cream throw on top and wanted to share it as another fun option for this time of year!

6 – SPRING TOPS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

{Striped Polo Shirt,Ā Anessa High Waist Jeans, Rag & Bone Sneakers, Butterfly Necklace}

I got some cute new things from Madewell for my birthday this year and this shirt is such a favorite! It’s relaxed and casual and green and striped. No surprise it came home with me. :) I ordered it in the ivory and black too! I sized down to a xxs.. Madewell sizes run big so I always size down one. Also my beloved favorite jeans are on sale! This light wash pair I wear more than any other pair of jeans I own which is saying a lot because I have an obsession with jeans and own more than I should. ;)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I also fell hard for this cute muscle tee and have a feeling it will be my outfit on repeat all spring and summer! I couldn’t pick a color and know I will wear one of these at least weekly.

Striped Polo Shirt

So cute right!? Fitted but it gathers on the sides so it has a casual not too fitted look. It’s lightweight so perfect for warm weather and I love the little detail on the neck and sleeve.
Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)
I also got this cute long sleeve tee and didn’t get a selfie in it but I’m wearing it in this pic with Ad! So fun having her here last week for my birthday. :) The top is such a good fit. I wanted it in blue and green too but then thought oh my word.. I can’t buy EVERY top I love in ALL the colors. Ha! So I went with Ivory and forced myself to move on. Ad wanted an over sized leather jacket to wear to an upcoming concert and we found such a cute one on Amazon! She’s wearing it in this picture. Funny because we looked at more expensive options but really just liked the Amazon jacket the best. It was exactly what she was looking for and only $60! Major score. Kole snapped this pic of us at Chili’s – Ad and Kole love it there. :)

Enjoy your weekend! And sorry this blog post felt like a lot of rambling and random favorites. More like a Saturday 60 instead of a Saturday 6! I applaud you if you’re still with me at this point! I’ll try to cut it back next week.

Same way I try to cut back on buying shirts that are green or have stripes.

;)

Spring Gift and Cards

spring cards (Sunny Side Up)

Happy spring! There are always so many fun events going on this time of year! Easter and birthdays and weddings and Mother’s Day. I’m putting together gifts for a few things and wanted some cute cards to go with them so I decided to make a variety that we can use throughout spring! ALL the occasions and even a hello spring if you just want to send someone a thinking of you gift!

Spring Gift Cards (Sunny Side Up)

{FREE SPRING GIFT TAGS}

I wanted larger cards.. some with more space for writing a note and some that I can just write a quick to and from. I was feeling spring flowers and aren’t the little chick and bunny the cutest for Easter gifts/baskets!?

Spring Gift Cards (Sunny Side Up)

I decided to also add smaller versions too if you just want to attach a small tag to a gift. I hope these are helpful! You can download everything for free HERE in my printable library.

(If you are already a subscriber to my blog sorry that you have to enter your info again! It won’t add you twice. Reply to a blog post e-mail if you have any issues and I can send you the printable link!)Ā

Spring Gift (Sunny Side Up)

This is one of the cute spring gifts I put together. So excited about it! I bought this caddy last year and used it all the time for outdoor entertaining so when it came back in stock this year I picked up a few more for gifts. It looks cute holding napkins and utensils or organizing items in the kitchen or office.

Spring Gift Cards (Sunny Side Up)

I added items everyone can use in their home and the colors are so fun for spring! So cute right!? I have these washcloths in every bathroom in my home right now and the towels in my kitchen. I love this gift idea for someone getting married or moving into a new home too. Really it works for ALL occasions! If you don’t want to spend as much you can just gift the caddy and flower and a set of dishtowels. Or fill the caddy with other things – office supplies would be cute too! So many fun options. :)

Spring Gift (Sunny Side Up)

While I was working on a video to share this gift on IG, a package arrived at my door and it was this cute throw I ordered! Made me laugh because it’s the SAME color as everything I pulled together here. Clearly I’m a fan! I bought it to lighten things up in my family room. Bring on the sunshine! Spring we are ready for you. :)

Sunday Edit

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a good weekend! I’m loving this week’s round-up because everything is screaming SPRING! Home and fashion are so fun this time of year aren’t they!? All the pretty spring dresses and clothes come out and it’s time to make our homes feel lighter and brighter. I can feel a major spring cleaning spree coming on too! I love organizing and de-cluttering this time of year. I own or want to own everything I featured below! Ha. So many cute things. Have the best day! I’m going to make sure to relax, but also find some time to do a little prep before the week hits. I’ve found that if I prep some healthy snacks, plan my week and catch up on laundry Monday tends to feel a little less scary. ;) Enjoy your day!

Wedding Shower and 48

Bday (Sunny Side Up)

{Green Top}

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a great week! Mine has been a little busier than usual so I’m sharing a few recent events instead of my usual Saturday 6 today. Lots of fun things coming to the blog next week too so I’m excited about that! I turned 48 on Tuesday. 48! I think I was around 30 when I started blogging so wow. Crazy how quickly time really does go by. We are all getting old! ;) Last weekend was beautiful weather here but the rain hit on my birthday and this week has been a wet and cloudy mess! It might have made for some not so good hair, but it didn’t stop us from celebrating. :)

Bday (Sunny Side Up){Green Top, Jeans}

My cute friends took me to lunch and totally spoiled me and honestly seeing all of their beautiful faces felt like such a gift! I love each of them so much. It can be hard to find time for friends when you are an adult right? Life is so busy with kids and work and all of the things that pull us in a million directions, but at the end of the day good friendships enrich our lives so much. Plus friends just make life FUN. I’m incredibly grateful for these girls and for all of you. My beautiful on-line friends. :)

Bday (Sunny Side Up)

I’m already loving a few new products my friends gave me so excited to share those soon!

Bday (Sunny Side Up)Pizza Storage Container / Food Storage Containers

My original pizza b-day spot went out of business so we had to re-group and find a new one. There was so much pizza/salad leftover and they sent it all home with me (we have been eating pizza all week.. ha). I was so happy to have my pizza container! I fit a HUGE box of pizza inside. Total space saver.

Bday (Sunny Side Up)

Ad has been home for spring break all week and that also made my birthday such a treat this year! Heading out to celebrate together.

Bday (Sunny Side Up)

The absolute best when I can get my whole family together. It made me excited for this summer when my girls will both be home more! And when it’s not raining. ;)

Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

Last weekend we threw a wedding shower for a close friend’s daughter and everything turned out so pretty! Sharing some pics in case you want to use these ideas for a shower or other party or event this year. I found this pretty welcome sign on Etsy that I downloaded and personalized and then I had it made into a poster at a local print place. Her colors are blue and white so it was perfect! We set it by the front door with a picture of the cute couple.

We used my favorite acrylic vases for all of the flowers.. they make it so easy to put together pretty arrangements!

We also added these cute advice & wishes cards people could fill in on the table. My marriage advice was to always put each other first and to ignore the advice that says “never go to bed mad.” When it’s late and your feeling annoyed or frustrated with each other my advice is to go to bed and talk about it in the morning. It’s amazing what a good night’s sleep will do for perspective. ;)

Enjoy your weekend and I’ll be back soon with all things spring!

Sunday Edit

Happy Sunday! Did everyone “spring forward?” It’s so nice to have more light in the evenings, but I always struggle with this switch for about a week! In fact I’m feeling tired just mentioning it. Ha. I hope we are all able to get some rest today before a busy week hits with one less hour in it! For today’s Sunday Edit I’m sharing your recent favorites along with some fun spring round-ups! I shared a beautiful Farm Rio spring dress a few weeks ago that you loved as much as I did. It sold out so quickly but was just re-stocked! I linked it below again too. Saturday 6

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Saturday! Sending all the spring vibes your way and sharing a few things I’m loving lately! :)

1 – BOOK VASES

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)Book Vases, Faux Tulips

It’s tulip season and I was so excited to pull out these fun book vases I bought last year! They look cute side by side on a book case or layered like this on any table/counter. These are real tulips above but I linked these faux tulips as a fun option too. I ordered them and they are beautiful! I’ll share how I’m using them soon.

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)

This little secret garden book vase is another favorite we’ve had for years. The Secret Garden was my favorite book growing up. :)

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)Clear Book Vase

Another pretty book vase option! This is such a fun way to give flowers to a friend/loved one too.. inside a book vase they can keep and always use!

2 – LANDING SPOT

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)

{ceiling fan/similar bench/similar throw}

It’s Addison’s college Spring Break starting tomorrow (YEA!) so I took the tulips up to her room to welcome her home.

I love the way they look on a nightstand next to a lamp!

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)

Cutest little vase.Ā

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)Book Planter

While I was up in her bedroom I saw this cute book planter in her closet that I forgot we also have!

Tulip Book Vases (Sunny Side Up)

Book Planter / Book Vase Options

It has a larger square opening so I usually set a little plant inside. So many cute book vase options! (I linked them all here with a few other favorites.) Perfect for someone who loves to read. :)

3 – EASTER TABLE CANDLES

Carrot Candles (Sunny Side Up)

I started working on my Easter table this week and ordered these adorable bunny candle holders. They are the sweetest and so are the carrot candles! I’m not using the carrot candles on this table (going with soft pinks this year!) but love them for a kids’ table or a table with bright colors. I might do a fun arrangement with them in my kitchen.

Carrot Candles (Sunny Side Up)

This is how they look in the bunny candle holders. So fun.

Spring Candles (Sunny Side Up)

These are two other candle options I ordered to try on this table! Love them both. This cake stand and candle have such a pretty scallop edge just like the bowl and tray I used in my spring bathroom.

Spring Candles (Sunny Side Up)Glass Bunny

These glass bunnies are also beautiful and come in pink, purple and green.

4 – SWIMSUITS

Swimsuits (Sunny Side Up)

Swim season is right around the corner and these two suits stole my heart! I love this style of swim top and have several already because I like having my shoulders covered when I’m at the beach or pool for hours. I have fair skin so tanning isn’t an option for me plus I don’t need any extra freckles or wrinkles. I’m pretty set on both. ;) Robbin Piccone is my favorite brand for bikinis/swim suits. They are a little on the pricey side but they are flattering, good quality and they have great coverage. Three things I’m looking for at this stage of life when it comes to suits!

Swimsuits (Sunny Side Up)

Swim Top/ Coverup Skirt / Stipe Bag

This cute stripe bag was a favorite last year and this little skirt is my most worn coverup. I can’t wait to pull out all the beach bags! We aren’t quite there yet but with the time change happening this weekend it’s nice to know it’s coming!

Swimsuit coverup (Sunny Side Up)

BEFORE

If your swim suits and cover-ups are a hot mess like mine were last year try organizing them like this..

Swimsuit coverup (Sunny Side Up)

AFTER / SWIMSUIT ORGANIZATION

SO much better right!? I’ve had this drawer organized like this for a year now and can honestly say that I absolutely LOVE it. It is easy to keep things organized and I can quickly see where all of my suits are if I’m getting ready in a hurry. It makes packing a breeze too!

Swimsuit coverup (Sunny Side Up)

{mini clear bag small bags – I bought this same bag in the 2 sizes listed above}

These are the sizes of clear bags I used, but honestly I don’t think the size matters as long as you can fit them in your drawer. One tip that worked for me was having my swimsuit bags a little smaller than my cover-up bags.

5 – GREEN SWEATS

green sweats (Sunny Side Up)

Ok.. since green is clearly superior in my mind (and you all know that by now) I think it’s pretty clear why I love this set of sweats! Obviously cute (love the white stripe!) but they are also incredibly comfortable. The only down side (for me anyway) is the pants are too long. I’m going to try washing/drying this set this weekend to see if the pants will shrink up a little so that I’m not tripping on them. *I’m almost 5’4 and wearing xs in both top and bottom. They are both a baggy fit! If you are in-between sizes on pants go down to the smaller size.

6 – PHONE CASE

phone case (Sunny Side Up)

Ok.. last favorite before I sign off! I’m so excited about my cute new phone case! A friend of mine has this case and when I saw it at lunch I fell hard and told her to send me the link. It looks classy and I love the gold ring holder. But the best part?

phone case (Sunny Side Up)

iPhone 14 Case, iPhone 15 Case, iPhone 16 Case

The wallet inside! I love that now I have my most used credit cards and driver’s licence with me everywhere I go. I can just grab my keys and phone and head out the door!

It’s the little things right?

I hope you have the best weekend! I’m about 80% done with about 15 projects right now so my goal is just to finish SOMETHING around here. Ha. I think I better wear my green sweats for good luck. Going to need it!

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

{PSA – daisies are showing back in stock but not sure for how long! SPRING BATHROOM REFRESH}

Happy Sunday! This was the first weekend in so long that Kenny and I have been home without tons of random things going on. We really needed a catch up weekend and I’m heading to bed feeling so good about everything I got done! We went on a walk in the morning and it was so cold here today so I came home and turned on the fireplace and Harry Potter (it has been my go-to on repeat for a while now – I like the background noise.. ha) and then I CLEANED. Did some long overdue admin things, house work and organizing. Kenny was working on taxes (yuck.. I would so much rather clean!) and then tonight we went to dinner with Kole and a friend and then finished a series we’ve been watching on Netflix. I love weekend days like today. A walk, some productive time, dinner out and then relax and watch a movie at home. The only thing that would have made it better is adding in some hot tub time with the kids. Kenny overheats and doesn’t love the hot tub but I LOVE it. The hotter the better. :) Ā I hope you had a good Saturday too! Sharing lots of cute things for spring today! Your recent favorites, spring art, trees, decor and fashion. Where is the sun!? We are all ready right!? Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Saturday 6

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Saturday from the trail! I hope you had a beautiful week! I’ve got a fun round-up for you today that includes a little organizing, a little spring decor, a lot of fashion (hello affordable spring purses!), and a little life. Time for some popcorn.. let’s do it. :)

1 – ORGANIZED CONTAINER DRAWER

Organized Container Drawer (Sunny Side Up)

BEFORE

This food container drawer has been driving me crazy for over a year! I’ve organized it many times and even added a divider to separate containers from lids, but it somehow aways ended up looking like this. I finally determined that the mis matched containers (all different sizes) were the issue in keeping this small space tidy. I did some research and ordered new containers at the beginning of the year and two months later.. I organized the drawer. Progress is sometimes slow. Ha.

Organized Container Drawer (Sunny Side Up)

AFTER

Happy 2025 angels! So nice to hear you singing again. :) This drawer is heaven on earth and the best part? We’ve been keeping it this way. Kole unloads our dishwasher (one of his jobs) and he can even keep it tidy so this is definitely a win! The organizer for lids has dividers so you can customize it. I just set the largest lids behind it because they were a little too wide. You can buy the organizer in an extra large size (I have the large), but I wanted more drawer space for the actual containers in this drawer. Speaking of containers these are so good! PBA free, microwave and dishwasher safe, they stack so nicely and the lids seal tight keeping food fresh. Later I laid my pizza storage container on top of the large containers and everything fits in this space so nicely! Very happy about this small victory.

2 – SPRING WREATHS

Spring Wreath (Sunny Side Up)

Floral Wreath With White Ribbon

These two wreaths are so pretty for spring and I know they will sell out quickly! This gorgeous neutral floral wreath with little white flowers and a white ribbon..

Spring Wreath (Sunny Side Up)

and this beautiful floral option with light purple flowers and ribbon. Both are so pretty for spring! I’m starting to put my spring porch together and ordered a few things to try. You can check them out here along with other spring porch favorites!

3 – MOST WORN JEANS

Favorite Jeans (Sunny Side Up)

{Medium Wash Jeans, Dark Wash Jeans, White Jeans, White Jeans also sold here}

My Paige Anessa High Waist Jeans are finally back in stock! Hands down my most worn jeans last spring and summer so I ordered them in a dark wash and white too. They are pricey but I literally lived in them! Well.. you remember. :)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

First pic I found of me in the light wash. They are high waisted so they work really well with shorter/crop tops.

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

{Blue Henley, Dark Wash Jeans,Ā Ballet Flats, Butterfly Necklace}

But they also look cute with longer tops. My favorite part about these jeans (other than the fit) is that they work with ANY type of shoe. I’ve dressed them up with heels, I’ve worn them with a sweatshirt and sneakers, and they look so cute with ballet flats and sandals. I’m a fan.

Bracelet (Sunny Side Up)

While I was snapping a pic in this outfit I remembered that I never shared this cute bracelet I got around Christmas! I have the matching necklace too and always get compliments when I wear them. I usually layer the bracelet with a few of my favorite Amazon bracelets for a fun stack. Would make a fun gift for Mother’s Day too!

4 – SPRING PURSES

Spring Purses (Sunny Side Up)

Bamboo Top Handle BagĀ / Checkered Runner

Ok.. let’s talk spring purses! AFFORDABLE and CUTE spring purses. Aren’t the two above the cutest!? I’m so in love! $25 you guys. Such a steal. I had to have them both. It comes in a pretty blue pattern too!

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

I found so many cute spring purse options and ordered them all to see/try in person. I took a lot of pics in this same outfit just so you can see bag sizes! This bamboo handle purse is on the small size. It’s perfect for lunch with friends or date night when you just need your keys, phone and lipgloss. On a sidenote this sweater is so comfy and on sale! I have had these Colette pants in green for years and got the black for Christmas. Kenny gives the best gifts! Especially when he has specific instructions. ;)

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

{Colette WeekendĀ Jumpsuit, Heels, Bamboo Top Handle Bag}

Here’s the same purse in black. I love the little scarf tie! Wearing it with this cute cropped jumpsuit that Kenny also gave me for Christmas. Colette everything this year! He has the best taste. ;) Really though.. this jumpsuit is so flattering and on sale.

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

{Clear Crossbody Bag}

Ok.. back to my stripes and more cute purse options. This clear bag is perfection. Perfect for a summer concert or baseball game! I love the cute strap with gold accents. It matches my sweater pretty cute too. And my hall rugs. Clearly I like black and cream.

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

{Straw Mini Bow Clutch}

Another cute spring/summer option. This purse is a little bigger so it could be more of an every day bag. I love the way it ties in a bow at the top.

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

{Straw Tie-Top Bag}

Also darling! Also has the cute bow accent. This would be a perfect beach vacation purse.

Fashion (Sunny Side up)

Couldn’t pass this one up. Too much fun and would also be a perfect vacation bag.
Spring Purses (Sunny Side Up)
And while we’re talking lemons.. this little coin pouch is adorable!

Spring Purses (Sunny Side Up)

These are two other bags from Target I love. I’ve had these a little longer. They are so soft and the large puffer bag is great for travel.
Fashion (Sunny Side up)
I snapped this so you can see how big the larger size is (it can hold a lot!). Very on trend and it comes in other colors too. 10/10!
Fashion (Sunny Side up)
This is going to be my new beach bag this year! My girls stole my other options so this was definitely a need not a want. Ha. I love the black border!
Fashion (Sunny Side up)
This is another fun beachy option. A little smaller so I think I’ll return this (I need to fit a large towel in mine) but I wanted to share it because it’s also so cute!
Fashion (Sunny Side up)
And last but not least, if you like a more structured tote this is also really cute and holds a lot. I love the circle handle!
Ok.. you have to tell me.. which bag is your favorite!? I can’t choose! Definitely the two I shared first.. and the clear bag. AND the lemon coin purse. AND the puffer bags. But I also love the black border beach bag.. I’m in trouble. :)

5 – HEALTHY LUNCH/SNACKLE BOX/ART

Healthy lunch (Sunny Side Up)

I have shared this healthy lunch/dinner/snack option before but was eating it for lunch this week so decided to share it again for anyone who might have missed it and is trying to eat healthy. It’s one of my go-to’s. I’m loving this divided tray so much that I shared in my fridge favorites post because it’s perfect for this! I cut up cucumbers, carrots and celery ahead of time and then just toss it on a tortilla shell with lettuce and sliced almonds. If I have chicken I add it too for some protein. I make the dressing.. it’s just olive oil and balsamic vinegar, garlic and a few spices. You can get the full recipe HERE. Kenny has been calling this my rabbit food for years but I’m telling you.. it’s filling and tastes so good!

Healthy lunch (Sunny Side Up)

These are the sliced almonds I use! Also this cute citrus art is back in stock! It has been in my pantry and I swapped it for this cute lemon print because I like the size better of this one in my kitchen.

6 – GOOD-BYE FEBRUARY

I can’t believe January and February are over! We made it! We are through the two sometimes LONG winter months. HELLO MARCH! So happy you are here. I’m excited for the time change and longer evenings.. anyone else? Sharing a quick dump of random pics on my camera roll since this blog is still in some small way a family journal. I’m too busy trying out all the cute spring purses for us to have time to actually scrapbook anymore. ;)

A bit of life lately..

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Kole went to his first formal dance! How is he this old!? Freshman mostly just go with friends which I love.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Love these boys. Growing up way too fast.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

The dance was at Seaworld and they all had the best time.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Took El and Kole to Wicked last weekend. That play gets better every time doesn’t it!? A must see if you haven’t yet! The Broadway is incredible. It was so fun seeing the movie this year but for me nothing compares to the play.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Team pink and team green. :) We were really missing Addie! Well.. I was anyway. I’m over here “This is so fun! Let’s wear pink and green! Let’s buy snacks! Let’s take pictures!” Ā El, Kole and Kenny were all missing Ad because they needed her to hang with me. Ad and I bring a different energy that is sometimes too much for these 3. Ha.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

A recent pic of her heading to an exam with her little good luck charm! She is coming home soon for spring break and we all can’t wait to get her here.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Sweaty nights at the gym with my boys! I have to really PUSH myself go but I’m always so glad I did after.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

It’s much easier to get dinner out with the girls. :)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Or shopping. Or lunch. Or walks. Grateful for all of the good friends in my life!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Fun night at Seaport Village.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Speaking of good friends! We were with these two again last night and I said “ok.. I can’t be out too late.. I still need to write my Saturday 6 post!” Richard wanted me to just make it a Saturday 3 or 4 so we could keep the party going. Ha. He cracks us up. Not only did I stick to 6 things (sorry Richard!) but this was a LONG 6 things. I’m up way past my bedtime! If you see a Saturday 3 or 4 pop up in the future you’ll know why. ;)

Have a great weekend and kick off the new month with something that makes you happy!

I think I’ll organize another drawer. :)

Spring Bathroom Re-fresh

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Who is ready for warmer days and all things spring!? I am SO ready and I’m channeling sunshine by adding ALL the spring decor possible! I kicked things off with a little bathroom re-fresh and I have to say that it is an instant mood boost walking into this space. For quick links to everything I’m sharing head HERE – Spring Bathroom.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

How can you not be happy when surrounded by pinks and greens?

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

And daisies!?

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

I originally bought this scalloped tray for my spring/Easter table this year but decided to use it for a tray in my bathroom for now and I love it so much in this space that I don’t think I’m going to want to move it! Perfect to hold a vase with pretty spring flowers. This vase is a great size and such a pretty cream color! It comes in a smaller version too.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

These mini vases and flowers are adorable! They add such a feminine touch to any space and would make great little gifts for friends. So would this pretty ribbed candle. Perfect for a bathroom!

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

The large daisies keep coming in and out of stock so I wanted to share another fun option that comes in one set. I wanted something larger for my bathroom so I’m putting this in a another spot but very similar look!

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

I also ordered this pretty plaid rug and green fluted soap pump.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)Stay ā€˜n’ Place

I used these rug tabs on the corners of the rug to keep it in place. You can buy them on Amazon also.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Cute green hand towel and then I added the pink scalloped bowl that matches the tray to this corner. Also bunnies! I can’t resist a cute bunny this time of year and these are adorable with their little bows! The dish cloths add pretty shades of pink and are perfect for guests or for Kole to use to wipe off the counter. Training him young. ;)

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)Textured Towels, similar ladder HERE & HERE

I hung the large towels here. A green stripe? Perfection.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)Woven Trash Can, Framed Wall Art

I also picked up this woven trash can to go with the bunnies and added this pretty art I’ve had for a couple of years.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Framed Wall Art

It’s back in stock and screams spring/summer!

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Woven Trash Can

Sidenote.. do you prefer your toilet paper over or under? I know the “correct” way is over but I’m clearly not interested in following the crowd. I have always had to have ours under! It’s so much easier to grab. Luckily nobody in my house cares other than me because that’s a hill I would have died on. ;)

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Room Spray

Quick shout out for a bathroom essential. I’m loving this driftwood room spray! It smells so good – clean and refreshing.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

That wraps up the spring bathroom re-fresh!

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

It has inspired many other spring touches around my home.

Spring Powder Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Plus it just makes me happy. Wishing you a beautiful day!
I feel lots of sunshine in our future.
