{Fuzzy Memory Foam Slippers/Pink & Green Velour Pajama Pants/Navy Velour Pajama Set/Snug Leaves Fuzzy Slippers/
Joyspun Flannel Sleep Pants (blue)/Knit Jogger Sleep Pants/Joyspun Flannel Sleep Pants (pink)}
So excited to be kicking off my first holiday pajama post of the season! You know I live for pajamas! Make them Christmas pajamas and that’s next level joy. :) These holiday pj’s from Walmart are so much fun! Walmart always has cute holiday pjs and they alway sell fast so I start watching for them in early October. These cute prints I found are so cozy and soft! They are already on heavy rotation and will be through winter. I also ordered lots of slipper options to test and the two I shared above are my favorites!
I pick up cozy socks (for me and the kids!) from Walmart every year and this is the perfect Christmas 6 pack! All the holiday colors you need including 2 black pairs.
{Joyspun Sleep Tee/Joyspun Flannel Sleep Pants/Snug Leaves Fuzzy Slippers}
Love these pink pjs pants with little green trees! I ordered this simple green tee to sleep in and aside from the color making me happy it’s so soft. The fuzzy slippers are too. Like walking on a cloud! (I’m wearing xs in all pants and tops and I would say everything runs a bit big!)
{Joyspun Sleep Tee/Joyspun Flannel Sleep Pants/Snug Leaves Fuzzy Slippers}
Same cute style of pants but blue with trees and skiers! This style comes in so many cute patterns.
{Joyspun Sleep Tee/Knit Jogger Sleep Pants/Fuzzy Memory Foam Slippers}
I love the fit of these cute joggers! Traditional Christmas with a red tee.. never gets old. These memory foam slippers are a perfect option if you want something similar to Uggs at a lower price point. They are incredibly comfortable and look so similar!
{Velour Pajama Set/Snug Leaves Fuzzy Slippers}
This velour set is crazy soft! If you are looking for warm, cozy pjs look no further! I love this blue set with white trees.
{Velour Pajama Set/Snug Leaves Fuzzy Slippers}
Another fun option. These sets are perfect for cold weather!
{Black tee/Grinch Plush Pants (similar option)/Max the Dog Costume}
Of course I had to pick up some pjs for the boys too. This pretty much sums up life at our house every holiday season! Ha ha.. bring my girls back! My Max head/antler fell down over my eyes right when the camera timer went off and I said “Wait! We need a re-take!” But these two were in full character and said nope.. one and done.
You’re a mean one (two!) Mr. Grinch.
;)
*You can check out more fun holiday pjs (including cute family sets!) from Walmart HERE.
Happy Sunday! Saying good-bye to this sweet girl today after such a fun weekend. It went by way too quickly but we’ll take any time we can get with our college kids! We did all of our favorite things – walks, grocery store/Starbucks runs (Ad loves the grocery store.. funny but she does!), hair appointments (I chopped off 4 inches!), pool/hot tub, Gilmore Girls (ALWAYS and usually on in the background while she does homework and I blog), lunches & dinners at favorite spots, movie night/late night chats and plans to do it all over again when she’s home for Thanksgiving with her sister. Officially counting down!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Below are fun round-ups from the week! A lot of these collages were for Amazon Prime Day so some are a repeat you might have seen. But if you missed the collages I added on Prime Day (including items that I ordered) it’s all here too. I especially love seeing what you are loving (top sellers)! You all have great taste. ;) Happy Sunday!
Happy Saturday! Kicking off our Saturday 6 with my 2024 Holiday Planner! Sorry it’s a little late this year. My goal is to alway have this planner ready to share by the beginning of October but I made some changes and life got in the way and well.. here we are almost half way through the month! Exactly why it’s important to plan ahead. Ha. ;) Time flies always but especially during the holiday months! Thank you to everyone who reached out about it! It makes me happy so many of you still use it and love it. Print and use it all or just use the pages that are helpful! I’m excited to start marking mine up this weekend.
You can download my holiday planner HERE by joining my e-mail list. If you’re already on my list just enter your information again (it won’t add you twice) and you’ll get instant access to my printable library. Wishing you the happiest well planned holidays! :)
Speaking of the holidays, these mugs are the cutest! I always get excited about hot chocolate when it starts to cool off and these are mugs = holiday hot chocolate perfection. They are the perfect size and I love the way they stack. I knew I had to have the ghosts for October and couldn’t choose between the snowman and gingerbread mugs for Nov/Dec so I ordered both and will attempt to part with one and give it as a gift. I’m actually thinking of stocking up on more for gifts because they are only $10 each! They come in some other cute options for Halloween and Christmas too.
Three cute rugs I love and have in my home! The stripe on the left is currently in my powder bathroom. (I use these pad grippers to hold it in place.) The floral rug is in my mudroom and I’m seriously debating ordering it in a larger size for under my dining room table. The handwoven jute rug is outside in front of our mudroom dutch door. All cute neutral options!
and a larger size. Beautiful and I’m shocked it hasn’t sold out yet!
I’m the most excited about these velvet ornaments! They are large and beautiful and look like the Mcgee & Co set.. SO good for the price and I’m excited to decorate one of my trees with them!
Here is a better look at the colors and what is included in one set.
I also ordered and love these pretty gold trees. They actually have some silver in them and they are such a cute shape!
I love this faux cedar arrangement! The vase has a deep orange tint (like the fall version I also have and love) and the cedar branches are very realistic. EASY decorating!
You can see more of my Target favorites/order in this blog post but so much of it sold out! I’ll let you know when other impressive items come back in stock, but the items I shared above are GOOD and are all still in stock! YEA.
Flocked Balsam Fir trees with Basket
Quick sale alert that is too good to not share! My cute flocked trees are on sale! All 3 sizes! The sale might just be for one more day.. I’m not sure. I didn’t fix the branches before I snapped this pic quick so picture them all evened out! Kenny helped me get some things down from our garage attic a few days ago and I pulled them out to show you how tall/cute they are. Love that they come in a basket!
{faux pine trees – coming soon!/down swept flocked trees/similar gold faux lit door garland/gold lanterns /flameless candles /fluted outdoor planters/similar poinsettias here/glitter gold star ornaments/concrete round bowl planter/red plaid rug/light up village wreath}
You can also see them on my Christmas porch from last year.
I think they are adorable.
Plus they light up so pretty at night!
They sold out by mid October last year so don’t wait if you want them!
Life with my boys. I’ve been trying to keep up with these two at the gym! Not an easy task but we have been having fun all going together in the evenings. I’m desperately trying to get back in a good workout routine! I sort of fell off the wagon with it all last spring when things got so busy. It feels good to be active again! I want to start my early morning walks again too but I’m easing into things. Baby steps around here! Sometimes I take a class with friends and sometimes I hit the treadmill and weights. Other times I just follow these two around and act like we are all tough gym bros. They love it. Especially when I make them take a selfie mid workout.. ha. Happy they humor me! They know I miss my girls and are good sports to let me tag along. ;)
Speaking of my girls.. Ad flew home this weekend for a quick fall break trip! We had the best day hanging out and Ellie is coming over tomorrow. I’ll have to share our itinerary in a post soon.. we came up with a good one! She flies back Sunday so it’s a quick trip, but we’ll take what we can get. This is a happy weekend at our house!
I hope it is at your house too. :)

Fall is such a fun time for gift giving! Whether it’s a hostess gift for a holiday party or Thanskgiving, a fall birthday or just to wish a “happy fall!” to a friend or neighbor.. it’s a fun time of year to help someone enjoy this beautiful season! A couple of weeks ago I shared these fun things I picked up for gifts. Geometry towels are so good! Really absorbent and these fall patterns are too cute.
The Meyers fall scents are another staple this time of year.
Download my fall tags and below are a few ways to pair these items!
Tie a towel or two on a pumpkin board! You can add some cute wooden serving spoons and this velvet ribbon is my favorite for gift giving and Christmas decorating!
This pumpkin board comes in a set of 3 and is just the right size to add a towel or a few dishcloths!
I added the Meyer’s scents in this cute basket with a couple of dishtowels. You could also just tie them together with ribbon!
Happy Fall indeed!
There are so many ways to group these fun items together! You could even just tie a couple of dishtowels together with ribbon. I would love getting one of these fall gifts and might have to gift one to myself! That’s what you get when you give friends your favorite things. ;)
PRIME DAYS kicked off today! There are so many fun deals and LOTS of my favorites are marked down! I’ll have a post full of my top picks up tomorrow but if you want to check out things I have in my home and love that are marked down you can visit my Amazon Storefront here! Have the best day!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend! New Target Christmas collections are rolling out every day and today the Mcgee and Magnolia lines are up on-line! I’m sharing my favorites below! Last year I ordered these fun

BUT they usually restock so if you see something you love below that is already sold out click the “notify me when it comes back in stock” button and then if you get an email that it’s back don’t wait to order!Happy Christmas decor shopping and have a great start to your week!

{Stockings/Bow Tree Topper/Velvet Flocked Bauble Ornaments}
Hello hello! It’s time for Saturday 6 – Christmas style. :) I couldn’t be more excited about the holidays this year! They are always so special but I’m feeling it even more this year knowing that I get my girls both home from college! Just can’t wait! I’m sharing Christmas decorating ideas today and breaking this post into 6 categories: GARLAND, TREES, BRANCHES, WREATHS, PILLOWS, DECOR/CANDLES. You’ll see long time Christmas decor favorites along with cute new things I’m seeing and loving this year. This post is full of ideas so grab some hot chocolate and settle in! It’s the most wonderful time of the year. :)
{faux cedar garland/eucalyptus garland/arched mirror/lit birch trees/flameless candles/linen pillow/similar stars/ribbon/jeweled snowflake ornament}
We have to kick this post off talking all things garland because is it even Christmas without garland hanging in every room!? At least not in this house. ;) Good faux garland looks so realistic and you all know my absolute favorite. It’s back! My favorite faux cedar garland is back in stock. AND this year they have it in a thicker version! YEA. I used so many strands on this mantel last year so I’m excited to see how thick the new version is! I ordered 2 strands and will share a pic of it soon!
To get the look above I combined my faux cedar garland with my long time favorite eucalyptus garland. You can see more pictures and details about this mantel in my holiday star mantel post.
So beautiful! I love this garland.
Nighttime Christmas views are the best aren’t they!?
{faux cedar garland/norfolk pine garland/antiqued metal tray/faux eucalyptus swag/flickering candles/taper candles/candle holders/holiday tree shaped board/marble lazy susan/balsam candle/brass salt & pepper grinder/candle snuffer}
For my kitchen garland last year I combined my faux cedar garland with this beautiful norfolk pine garland and I loved the look! Planning on pairing those two together again this year.
Good garland is usually the first thing to sell out (many by the end of October)! I rounded up my favorites from Amazon and other stores below!
{faux pine trees – coming soon!/down swept flocked trees/similar gold faux lit door garland/gold lanterns /flameless candles /fluted outdoor planters/similar poinsettias here/glitter gold star ornaments/concrete round bowl planter/red plaid rug/light up village wreath}
Trees! There are so many beautiful tree options if you are looking for a new tree this year! These little down swept flocked trees were a favorite purchase last year and this year I bought the 3 sizes in the green version for inside. The faux pine trees on this porch are coming in stock soon! You can see more pics of last year’s red and gold holiday porch here. I’ll probably decorate it pretty similar this year.
It was especially fun at night. :)
{flocked tree/similar wood bead garland/green ball ornaments/similar chairs/similar pom throw}
If you need a large, pretty flocked tree I love this tree! I will say that it’s a bit messy during assembly (like most flocked trees!) but once it’s up it’s just stunning. A favorite for my bedroom! You can see more of my Christmas master bedroom decor here.
{Puelo Pre-lit Aspen Fir Tree}
Last year I didn’t decorate my bedroom as much but I added this cute faux aspen in the corner and loved it! It’s beautiful and a great price. I didn’t even decorate it! It was so pretty just on its own. I’m excited to decorate it this year.. still debating where to put it!
{norway 9′ tree/clip on candles/wood bead garland/similar bead garland/gold bead garland/rizzo textured ball ornaments/
similar stars/jeweled snowflake ornament/similar tree skirt/chunky wool jute rug}
This norway 9′ tree is absolutely stunning and I love it so much I have two! Aside from being absolutely beautiful, it’s FULL of sparkling lights and it’s so easy to assemble. It’s a higher price point but I know I’ll use it forever. Or at least close to forever. :)
{faux fur round chair/similar santa pillow/plaid pillow/similar tree/bead garland/clip-on candles/similar snowflakes/similar house ornaments}
Last year (per request!) I decorated Addison’s bedroom in tradition Christmas colors. She was so excited and I can’t wait to decorate my kids’ rooms this year! You can see more details in this post.
I used a cute skinny tree that I’ve had for years (it’s discontinued) so below are some similar options from Amazon and other places!
{Pre lit Wall Hanging Olive Leaf Tree/Fa la la Pillow}
I didn’t do a great job of capturing this tree at night (quick phone pic).. it lights up so beautiful! I can’t wait to pull it out again this year. It would be cute on any blank wall or above a console table. Not your traditional tree but it’s definitely a favorite!
{Balsam & Cedarwood Hand Soap/Faux Pre-lit Alpine Mini/Lit Faux Pine Trees/Hand Towel}
This little mini tree is another long time favorite and these lit faux pine trees are similar and come in lots of sizes!
Trees I’m loving..
{similar woven tray/real touch norfolk pine branch/rizzo textured ball ornaments/textured metallic glass ball ornaments}
Let’s talk branches! These real touch norfolk pine branches are beautiful!
I love laying them in a long tray with ornaments. Simple decorating and they always look beautiful!
{real touch norfolk pine branches/lighted brown branches/black serving board/white ceramic vase/similar gold trees}
These lighted brown branches are such a pretty addition to any holiday arrangement!
You can set them on a timer and they click on in the evening and give such a nice glow. Love them!
{Zeyune Norfolk Pine Branches}
I moved the real touch branches to my vase last year so I bought these zeyune norfolk pine branches to replace them and they are also beautiful! A great price for a pack of 6!
I rounded up so many fun stems on Amazon! You can see them all here..
AMAZON HOLIDAY BRANCHES & STEMS
Wreaths! A favorite for holiday decorating and last year I had so much fun with mini wreaths!
LOVE them. I added ribbon to these faux juniper wreaths and they turned out so cute! (Looks like this year they come with ribbon already attached!) I just use a small dot of glue with a glue gun so the bows can easily be pulled off.
Then I attached clear command hooks to my counter stools.
Easy to hang and I loved the look! In past years I’ve attached them with ribbon but then they slide around. This worked better for me with these stools!
I also hung them down my hallway on the molding. Mini wreaths look good everywhere!
A couple of years ago I hung these hoop wreaths on our mudroom lockers.. another fun way to use them!
Sharing some fun wreath options below!
{everywhere velvet pillow/similar for less/merry pillow/conell lumbar pillow/velvet sherpa tree pillow/green loops tree pillow/chunky wool jute rug}
Pillows! We love them! I’ll be sharing more favorite pillows soon but above and below are some favorites from PB. Their holiday pillows are always so cute!
This fun bottle brush display with lights was another favorite addition last year! I tried making my own too but it didn’t turn out quite as cute.. ha. I’m seeing lots of fun similar options popping up this year!
{flickering candles/taper candles/candle holders}
I love using candles during the holidays and the two I linked above are my long time go-to favorites. I use remotes/timers for them and they light everything up so beautifully!
I always use them in my kitchen window too. :)
I shared this cute tree board that was so fun for entertaining and holiday movie nights with the kids!
Also these cute reindeer are fun decor that have been popular and sell out quickly!
Love my tree towels too. :)
You can see more fun decor I’m excited about in the link below and of course I’ll be sharing lots as I decorate! I could talk Christmas decor all day long but this post is already a book so time for a break. If you made it this far you might be just as crazy as I am when it comes to holiday decorating.. ha. I hope this post gave you some fun ideas! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Now back to our pumpkins. ;)
Ok college parents! I’m sharing a quick and easy care package idea you can send to your kids! If your kids aren’t in college yet but will be someday save this idea for later! And if the college thing doesn’t apply to you and your family these gift ideas could also make great gifts or stocking stuffers for anyone so I hope the ideas are helpful regardless! I found these fun envelopes over the summer for my girls and ordered them each a set.
I love the idea of each of them getting to open something up over time for a little pick me up when things feel happy or stressful or hard! I had plans to leave these envelopes with them when I initially dropped them off but I didn’t have them ready in time so I just recently sent them and I’m actually happy about the delay! There was so much going on their first few weeks of school that I feel like they might have been lost in the shuffle a bit. Now the hype of moving in and meeting new people has slowed down and classes are getting harder and they have been gone from home longer. Perfect time for a little pick me up!
I sat down and made a list of a few ideas of things I could put in the envelopes or that I could attach the envelope to and ended up coming up with the list below. You could obviously put in anything you want! I’ll share what I did just to give you some ideas.
OPEN WHEN YOU:
Need to laugh –
Need a hug – Hug Chocolates
Need some love – Heart Initial Necklace
Can’t sleep –
Are happy –
Feel sad – Favorite Candy
Feel sick – Tylenol
Miss us –
Finish a big exam – Starbucks Gift Card
Feel stressed –
Here are a few things I laid out getting them ready! El’s gifts on one side of the table..
Same things for Addison on the other. :) I gave them the pumpkin slippers for “open when you feel happy” and told them to open those soon so they can use them this fall!
Have you seen these fun emotional support plushies!? They crack me up.. especially the pickle! I got this for the “when you need to laugh” envelope and it was a huge hit with my girls. I ended up ordering Kole the positive pumpkin. :)
I wrote little notes to my girls in each envelope. Nothing to long or elaborate.. just a little about the gift and how much I love them. For the “open when you feel stressed” I told them that nothing helps me when I feel stressed like a good brain dump/planning session! I attached that envelope to the pencils and highlighters and the daily notebook I’ve been using and loving. On the “open when you feel sick” I added the Tylenol and wrote “take two of these and call your mom!” For the “open when you finish a big exam” I wrote a little note about how proud we are of them and enjoy a pink drink on us. I know my girls well. :)
The small gifts I put inside the envelopes and the larger gifts I wrapped and attached the envelope to the item. I took this package to Addison at parent’s weekend and we see Ellie most weekends so it was easy to give to her. Because I was giving it to them in person I just put all of the envelopes and gifts inside this cute gift bag. You could obviously box it all up and mail it too! Another fun idea is getting this ready now and sending it back to school with your college kid after Christmas break! Something to look forward to during harder winter months. Living away from family and home for the first time can be challenging in so many ways! I love this care package idea as a fun way to make sure they know how much you love them and are cheering them on.
One of my favorite gifts I gave the girls was this cute little pocket hug pin I found and sent in the envelope “open when you miss us.” I wrote a little longer note for that one and told them the pin would be good luck and a reminder of how much we love them and are always with them. Addison sent us a text a week later with this picture of her on campus heading to take her first biology exam and told us she was going to take it with her to all of her tests throughout college. Cue the waterworks! Love my girls so much.
I came home from dropping Kole off at school one morning to this beautiful basket that was left on my doorstep! Two of my sweet friends put it together for me to cheer me up during this “almost empty nest” transition I’m going through and it was the cutest gift! Full of self care items.. beauty products and a candle. Girlfriend coupons, a few relationship/couple games and some treats. So thoughtful of them and cue the tears once more! As if I haven’t had enough tears during the past few months. :) My friends have really helped me get through this transition and now that I’ve gone through this a couple of times myself with both girls moving out I am definitely going to be more aware and watching for friends who are going through it in the future. It’s a tricky stage of life for moms to navigate and a great time to really be there and help each other through it! I’ve been taking a box of tissues and a bag of Hugs chocolates to my mom friends soon after they say goodbye to kids moving out just so they know I’m thinking about them. Small things make a difference and where would we all be without good girl friends!? They are everything.
I hope this post gave you a few ideas for gifts whether it’s for kids in college or birthday/holiday gifts or for any other event! Enjoy your day and I’ll be back with more holiday decor fun soon. :)
{Fall Kitchen Sources/Halloween Serveware & Favorites}
Happy October! Sharing a quick and easy way to add a little Halloween fun to dinner!
I came across this fun cauldron serving bowl set on Amazon and fell hard! Isn’t it cute and perfect for Halloween dining!? I immediately thought of so many different ways I can use this. Tonight it held toppings for our taco dinner!
I used my cute spider bowl to hold the taco meat. Clearly I was feeling festive! Ha. I’ll share how I make our meat for tacos or taco salad.. it’s so easy! I’ve been making it this way for years and my boys like it. :)
Brown 2 lbs ground beef (I used 3 tonight so we would have leftovers.. you can do as much or little as you want with this mix!). Drain it and then add:
1/3 – 2/3 cups of water (I eyeball this and just put enough in that the meat is moist but not too soupy)
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can red kidney beans
Simple and tasty! Especially if it’s in a cute spider bowl. :)
This was so easy to put together! I saw another similar set on Amazon with plastic bowls that I also ordered to try but I like the ceramic bowls better. Especially for food! This was hands down the nicest set.
I usually fry or bake our taco shells but Kole likes the store bought crunchy shells best so that’s how we’re rolling with our tacos over here when it’s just me and the boys! I laid them out on a black board for fun.
This took no extra time and made a regular boring dinner so fun tonight! This cauldron would be cute holding toppings for so many different meals and snacks (potato bar, ice cream toppings, etc.) and it’s perfect for a Halloween party! Would be cute with the bowls full of candy too.
October we are ready for you!
*You can see all of my Amazon Halloween favorites HERE and favorites I’m rounding up/buying for Christmas HERE.
Love this time of year. :)
Happy Sunday! Excited about this week’s round ups AND Walmart dropped their Christmas decor! So many cute things. I’m especially loving these black outdoor deer and these gold deer (here and here) for inside. Such good prices and a few items I was debating yesterday already sold out! I know it’s early but I wanted to share favorites before they are gone because the good Christmas decor comes in and FLIES. Apparently there are other people out there who love Christmas decor as much as you and I do. ;) Below my Walmart Christmas picks are your favorites from the week, sale round-ups, Target favorites, recent Amazon buys, Aritzia favorites and game day inspo! I shared this cute daily to-do list notebook last week in IG stories and was happy to see that so many of you loved it too! I’ve been trying to get back in a good exercise routine and it reminds me to schedule my gym time and helps me keep track of how much water I’m drinking. Not gonna lie.. it has been a bit of a slog getting back into my routine and I’m so sore and tired from last week! But if I write something down it will actually happen so I’m going to keep scheduling gym time and press on until it’s easier or I collapse! We’ll see which one comes first. Ha.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
