{Fall Kitchen Sources/Halloween Serveware & Favorites}

Happy October! Sharing a quick and easy way to add a little Halloween fun to dinner!

{Cauldron Serving Bowls}

I came across this fun cauldron serving bowl set on Amazon and fell hard! Isn’t it cute and perfect for Halloween dining!? I immediately thought of so many different ways I can use this. Tonight it held toppings for our taco dinner!

{Spider Serving Bowl}

I used my cute spider bowl to hold the taco meat. Clearly I was feeling festive! Ha. I’ll share how I make our meat for tacos or taco salad.. it’s so easy! I’ve been making it this way for years and my boys like it. :)

Brown 2 lbs ground beef (I used 3 tonight so we would have leftovers.. you can do as much or little as you want with this mix!). Drain it and then add: 

1/3 – 2/3 cups of water (I eyeball this and just put enough in that the meat is moist but not too soupy)
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can red kidney beans

Simple and tasty! Especially if it’s in a cute spider bowl. :)

This was so easy to put together! I saw another similar set on Amazon with plastic bowls that I also ordered to try but I like the ceramic bowls better. Especially for food! This was hands down the nicest set.

I usually fry or bake our taco shells but Kole likes the store bought crunchy shells best so that’s how we’re rolling with our tacos over here when it’s just me and the boys! I laid them out on a black board for fun.

This took no extra time and made a regular boring dinner so fun tonight! This cauldron would be cute holding toppings for so many different meals and snacks (potato bar, ice cream toppings, etc.) and it’s perfect for a Halloween party! Would be cute with the bowls full of candy too.

Happy Sunday! Excited about this week’s round ups AND Walmart dropped their Christmas decor! So many cute things. I’m especially loving these black outdoor deer and these gold deer (here and here) for inside. Such good prices and a few items I was debating yesterday already sold out! I know it’s early but I wanted to share favorites before they are gone because the good Christmas decor comes in and FLIES. Apparently there are other people out there who love Christmas decor as much as you and I do. ;)  Below my Walmart Christmas picks are your favorites from the week, sale round-ups, Target favorites, recent Amazon buys, Aritzia favorites and game day inspo! I shared this cute daily to-do list notebook last week in IG stories and was happy to see that so many of you loved it too! I’ve been trying to get back in a good exercise routine and it reminds me to schedule my gym time and helps me keep track of how much water I’m drinking. Not gonna lie.. it has been a bit of a slog getting back into my routine and I’m so sore and tired from last week! But if I write something down it will actually happen so I’m going to keep scheduling gym time and press on until it’s easier or I collapse! We’ll see which one comes first. Ha.

1 – FALL GIFTS

Happy Saturday and happy September! Feeling like I need to say that since September is almost behind us! So crazy isn’t it!? We’re about to enter the holiday months once again. Talk about crazy. In the best way possible. :) I have so many things to share today! Old favorites and new favorites and

Last year I put together these fun fall gifts for friends and teachers and wanted to do the same this year.I used Anthro’s seasonal hand soap last year which I LOVE but this year I’m using it for some early Christmas gifts so I decided to do something different for fall gifts.

{Meyer’s Counter Spray/Dish Soap/ Hand Soap}

I was ordering some Meyer’s counter spray for me (my favorite!) and decided to pick up more for friends. The seasonal smells are so good! I love both Apple Cider and Acorn Spice in the fall. You can get the dish soap and hand soap too but the counter spray is my favorite! Leaves your counters clean and your kitchen smelling amazing.

{Fall Geometry Dish Towels/Fall Serving Spoons}

I wanted to get some Geometry towels for fall and fell hard for the patterns out this year! Aren’t they fun!? Have you tried Geometry towels yet? I love how absorbent they are. I found these cute fall serving spoons to pair with them too. The green floral will also be perfect for Christmas! Picked up some for friends and some for us. You know you’re getting older when you get this excited about seasonal dish towels. Ha.

2 – AMAZON FAVORITES

Amazon Favorites! First up is this wood tree serving board. I shared this last year and it sold out so quickly! I heard from so many of you that you were bummed after it sold out so I’ve been watching for it to come back in stock.

I remember making this quick before I had to pick up Kole from school and it took less than 10 minutes! Anything you put inside will look cute because of the tree tray! I used a star cookie cutter for the cheese star. :)

Velvet Pillow Cover, Pillow Insert

I ordered some velvet pillow covers and inserts to try from Amazon and was so impressed! I’ve heard these inserts were good but wanted to try them to see how good. They come sealed up smaller and the instructions said to take them out and leave them out a day or two. They fluffed right up and are so soft!

Definitely impressed and the velvet pillow blends right in with my Pottery Barn pillows and looks just as nice! I love the brown but the pillow covers come in lots of other fun colors too.

I’m not a phone scroller. I’m on IG a lot sharing my own content but when I’m done with that for the day I like to check out what my friends are up to and then I happily sign off and want nothing to do with my phone! Viral Target Christmas Trees

Last but not least favorite Target find are these darling Christmas trees! I used the flocked trees on my porch last year and couldn’t resist picking up the natural set this year. They come in 3 sizes and are so cute! I snapped this late in the evening when I pulled in and they had just been delivered. FUN mail! I can’t wait to start decorating for Christmas. :)

This post is turning into a book and I have a lot of fashion favorites so I’m counting these outfit pics as item 4 and 5 on our list! Cutest top! It’s cropped so I wore it with high waisted jeans. It came in my Walmart order that I recently shared.. so many cute things in that order!
