Girl’s Bedroom Christmas Decor

*This post is sponsored by Hayneedle and affiliate links are used. All opinions and product selections are my own!

It’s the weekend before Christmas!  Honestly this is my favorite weekend of the entire year.  Most of the craziness of December is behind us and other than a scheduled wrapping session each evening (while my husband sleeps on the couch) and a few things on our agenda, I plan on finally relaxing.  Christmas pjs are ON and it’s time to drink all the hot chocolate and watch all the movies next to the lights of the Christmas tree.  The BEST.  I hope you are able to do the same!

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

Today I’ve partnered with Hayneedle to share some fun holiday touches I added to Addison’s bedroom!  Girls bedrooms are so much fun to decorate for Christmas aren’t they!?  It didn’t take much to turn her room into a winter wonderland. :)  Hayneedle has so many beautiful options when it comes to holiday home decor and a lot of it is on sale right now!  This really is the best time to buy holiday decor.  I always pick up a few fun things this time of year on sale to use the following year.  It’s so much fun pulling something new out of storage when it’s time to decorate for Christmas!

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

This “Tis the Season” print is my all time favorite.  It goes so beautifully with the blue paint in this room and just adds some holiday sparkle!  It would look so pretty on a fireplace mantel too (already thinking of fun ways I can use it in the future!).  I also added two snowball garlands over her bed.  (Love these!  They come in a set of 4 and would be so cute on a Christmas tree too!)

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

Addison loves this Belham glam floor mirror and uses it every day when she gets ready for school so I didn’t do much to this corner of her room other than add a few sparkly trees.

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

My very favorite part of her Christmas bedroom?

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

This adorable slim flocked Christmas tree.  I’m so in love!  It’s the perfect shape and the flocking looks like real snow!  It had amazing reviews on-line so I had a feeling it would be a keeper, but it honestly exceeded all of my expectations.  It’s on sale right now (comes in lots of sizes!) and I’m debating getting another one for my mudroom for next year.  Addison loves this tree so much I don’t think I’ll be moving it into a different room!  I also got this pretty velvety glitter snowflake Christmas tree skirt and this Kurt Adler Lighted Star Tree Topper that I’m obsessed with.   Then I added simple pink, silver and blue ball ornaments and done!  Such a cute little tree!

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

Ok.. the holiday art selection at Hayneedle is just too much fun.  Isn’t this snowflake print beautiful!?  I couldn’t decide between this print and the “Tis the Season” print I put over her bed so I finally just decided they were both meant to be in her room.  My husband has always loved my decision making skills. ;)  I also added this beautiful faux Pine and Eucalyptus garland to her desk.

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

My favorite part about this print is that I can keep it up through February!  It’s so fun for the winter months.  I love holiday decor that doesn’t have to come down right away.

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

I also added these simple Icicle Lights above her french doors and windows.  I’m sure you know exactly how I attached them. ;)

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

They make her room so magical at night!

Girl's Bedroom Christmas Decor (Sunny Side Up)

Just a few simple holiday items have made her room beyond cozy.  She loves it!  We both do.

Best Holiday Gifts from Amazon!

Ok.. true confession coming from someone who works incredibly hard at planning and preparing for the holiday season early so that December feels less stressful.  *See holiday planner post if you don’t believe me. ;)  This December has been a little stressful!  We honestly have just had too much going on the past few weeks and even though I was prepared for some of the holiday madness, too much is just too much.  I’ve learned a good lesson!  Aside from getting a jump start on all the things that need to happen during this time of year I also need to be more careful with our calendar and what we say yes to (although a big part of it is just the busy stage we are in with our kids!).  Anyone else feeling some burn out this month?  It will all get done though right!?  It always does.  I’m so excited to get my kids out of school Friday so we can slow down and enjoy some time together.

Because of our over scheduled December I am still finishing buying my gifts this year!  I’m usually so much more prepared with my shopping by this time in December.  I bought some things early (gifts for teachers, friends, neighbors and a few things for my family) but then I got busy and all of the sudden Christmas is a week away and I’m realizing there is much work to be done before Santa arrives!  Anyone else scrambling with me in the gift giving department!?  Seriously thank goodness for Amazon.  How did we ever live without it!?  Last night I searched high and low for some of the best sellers on Amazon to finish my holiday shopping.  I found so many great products to try!  Of course a few things ended up in my cart to me from me, but I’ve been pretty good this year so I don’t think Santa will mind much. :)

Here are my favorites of some of the best holiday gifts from Amazon!  These are all SO good you guys!  I hope this helps wrap up any last minute shopping you need to do too!  As much as I truly love to be prepared, the fact is that sometimes I just work best under pressure. ;)

Kitchen Window and Powder Bathroom Christmas Decor

Christmas Window (Sunny Side Up)

{Kitchen Rug/Hicks Pendant/Jeweled Snowflake Ornaments/Light Up Birch Trees/Similar Bowl/Similar Vase/Similar Pick/Similar Towel/Ornaments}

*Garland is real!

Happy Tuesday!  One more week until Christmas Eve!  Can you even believe that!?  It alway sneaks up way too quickly.  I still have so many decorated spaces I didn’t get around to sharing on the blog this year.  I don’t know if my kitchen post will make it up in time or not so I at least wanted to share my fun window decor!

Christmas Window (Sunny Side Up)

It’s my favorite spot in the house at the moment.. especially at night!  I had this window decorated a different way for Christmas and then was laying in bed last week and randomly remembered I never put my new snowflake ornaments on my tree.  They are so large and pretty!  I was laying there thinking about where to put them since my tree was done and this window popped into my head!  I had a vision of the snowflakes hanging.. then I saw the garland.. and then my favorite birch trees all lit up.  I was so excited I woke up the next morning rambling to Kenny.. “Morning babe!  Do you think I could hammer some nails in the ceiling of our kitchen bay window and not destroy it?  Snowflakes!  We need hanging snowflakes!”  Pretty sure he pretended he didn’t hear me.  If he would have decided to acknowledge me he would have given me his standard lecture about “needs” vs. “wants.”

But who on earth has time for that when we NEED snowflakes hanging in our window!?

Small white nails on a little ledge at the top of my bay window did the trick!  And it turned out just like I pictured it in my head that night.  Now my Christmas decor is complete. :)  It’s so cozy at night!  I might leave it up through January.  The snowflakes will especially work through winter.

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

(favorite bathroom rug)

Another fun little spot in my home at the moment is my powder bathroom.  I love adding simple Christmas cheer to small rooms because just a few items have a big impact!

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

I added some festive Christmas towels to my wooden ladder.  These towels are from a couple of years ago but I linked some cute options below.

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Then I just placed some pretty faux red flowers in a long time favorite vase and bought some red berry foam soap.

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

Done and done.  So simple.

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

So ready for Santa. :)

Christmas Bathroom (Sunny Side Up)

If you still need a few fun gift ideas check back tomorrow!  I ordered so many quick and inexpensive last minute things tonight and will share them along with more holiday decor.  Now I have GOT to get wrapping so I’m not up until 4 am Christmas Eve.  Anyone else ever had holidays like that?  Good thing I love watching It’s a Wonderful Life.

Over and over and over again. :)

Christmas Hallway Decor and Gifts for Boys!

*affiliate links used
Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

I’m so happy to announce that my hair is clean.  I repeat.. my hair is now washed and clean.  Let us rejoice!  Feeling much more like myself today. ;)  I’m sharing a few pics of our stair hallway decked for the holidays!  Then at the end of this post I have my gift ideas for BOYS.  So sorry for the delay on that one for those of you who have asked about it.  I had it ready to go with my other gift guides and somehow it never made an appearance on the blog.  Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle around here. :)

Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

I decided to mix things up on my shiplap board and display my kids’ pics with Santa this year.  I added some garland to the top of my board by attaching two command hooks on the top ledge in the corners to secure it in place.

Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

Then I added some berry picks on the ends and attached my wooden bead garland to the greenery.  (My wooden bead garland is 40% off right now!)

Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

This is supposed to be in the shape of a Christmas tree in case you can’t tell.  I didn’t have quite enough for 5 on the bottom row so I made the last three the trunk. ;)  I love these pictures.  My babies grow up in them and I remember special things about each year they were taken.

Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

I usually display these on my hallway door attached to burlap ribbon.

Santa Picture Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

The ribbon is attached to the back of my door with painter’s tape.  You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.  But who cares when the tricks work well. ;)

Christmas Card Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

Since I usually use this board for our Christmas cards..

Christmas Card Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

I decided to keep our Christmas cards close and jut attach them to this hallway door.  When it’s full I’ll add the rest to the other side of the door in our mudroom.  I’ve loved having them on this door because we are in and out of it so many times a day.  A good spot for some holiday cheer. :)

Christmas Card Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

To the left of our Santa pics is this fun hallway shelf.

Christmas Card Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

I added some holiday touches with random things I had left over from decorating other rooms!  You can see all of my favorite coffee table books that are on this shelf in my 2019 Favorite Things post.  Can you see which book I love so much I have a duplicate? :)

Christmas Card Display Wall (Sunny Side Up)

This hallway is a happy spot in my home at the moment!  I haven’t had time to decorate my staircase (bummer!) and am thinking at this point I probably won’t.  With one week left with my kids in school I need to make sure we are Christmas ready!  I want to have my gifts bought and (mostly) wrapped by Friday so that I can just enjoy my family during those few days leading up to Christmas.  So on that note.. here are some fun ideas for BOYS on your list!  Kole wrote a sweet note to Santa and asked for the Lego Worlds XBOX game and that was it!  He isn’t giving old Santa much to go on this year (unlike his two sisters who have thrown out PLETNY of ideas.. ha).  So below are a few things he already has and loves, a few things I know he’ll like, and a few things my friends are getting their boys.  I hope it’s helpful!  You can see a round-up of some my other gift guides in THIS POST if you still need a few ideas for anyone on your list.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Gifts for Boys (Sunny Side Up)

1 – Lego Star Wars/Lego Worlds Xbox One – Kole’s Christmas wish this year!

2 – Propel Star Wars Battle Drone – Drones like this are always fun gifts.  I love that it’s something my husband and son can play with together.

3 – Light-Up Tracing Pad – I can’t ever get Kole to just draw or color these days, but if it’s something like this it will keep his interest!  Hopefully buying me some solitude. ;)  This is a cute similar option for girls!

4 – Volcom Hooded SweatshirtVolcom Zip Hooded Sweatshirt

5 – Hooded Plush Robe – Kole’s all time favorite robe you’ve heard about many times. :)

6 – Apple AirPods – What all the teens want.. boys and girls!  I kind of want some myself this year.  Ellie got them last year for Christmas and has absolutely loved them.

7 – Percy Jackson 5 Book Box Set – We haven’t read these yet but they have rave reviews and my friend’s boys love them so a fun gift for Kole this year!  Some other book series he has loved include Dog Man, Geronimo Stilton, Roald Dahl, and lately he has been reading his sister’s old favorites.. the I Survived series of books.

8 – Pizza On Earth Sweatshirt – Love this.

9 – Lego Star Wars – Can you tell we’re going through a Lego Star Wars phase? :)

10 – NightMatch Light Up Basketball – Perfect for night games in the yard or at the court!

11 – Adidas Shorts – Kole’s favorite!  He also loves Nike Athletic shorts and I always get him a few pairs of each every December because he grows out of them so fast!

12 – Adidas Shirts – To go with his shorts.  Aren’t boys easy when it comes to clothes?  Now he’s dressed for another year.. ha!

13 – Echo Dot for Kids – I totally used the wrong pic for this collage!  So ignore that. :)  Debating this Echo Dot for Kole so he can listen to music and books.  Do any of you have this?  Love it?

14 – Air Hockey Table – I think all three of my kids would love this one!

15 – Foosball Table – This is the Foosball table we gave Kole for his birthday and have in our playroom.  It has been a HUGE hit with the whole family!  We love to play (usually Kenny and Kole vs. me and Addison) and one of these days Ad and I are going to take them.  We just need to sneak in some extra practices when the boys aren’t around. ;)  It’s great for when Kole has friends over too.  A kid magnet!

Christmas Dining Room Decor

It’s definitely December!  The calendar is crazy and the fact that I’m on my 6th day of dry shampoo is the not so fun evidence.  Are you hanging in there this month?  Every morning/afternoon/evening this week has been so jam packed with holiday events and to-do’s.  So much fun but I can always tell when I have too much going on because my brain starts to get fuzzy.  I’ll walk into a room to get something and forget what I was going to get.  My kids will say something to me and I’m looking at them and nodding but I have no clue what I’m nodding about.  Plus I talk to myself.  A lot.  I do that on a regular basis anyway, but I tend to do it more often and louder when I’m in overwhelm mode.  Please tell me you can relate to this!  Am I the only one who’s already hitting slight burn out before we’re even half way through the month!?

I need some peanut butter and chocolate chips.

And a shower that’s longer than 3 minutes so I can wash my hair.  My car is filthy.  Maybe I’ll just run us both through the car wash tomorrow.

It might help with the fuzziness.

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

On Tuesday night I hosted our annual sock exchange for all of the sweet girls ages 12-18 in our church.  This picture is actually from last year’s party because I was so awful this year at documenting!  I was too busy whipping out hot chocolate and talking to all of these sweet girls and I never took a picture.  We all look pretty much the same one year later. :)

{Aiden Wall Mirrors/Chunky Wool Jute Rug/Similar Wingback Chair here and here/Similar Wooden Dining Chairs/Similar Farmhouse Table here and here/Similar Pendants/Eucalyptus Wreaths/Red Striped Ribbon}

I did manage to get some pictures of my dining room earlier that day.  You guys!  I seriously have SO many pictures of my house decorated for Christmas just sitting on my computer that I haven’t shared yet!  I haven’t had two seconds to post them so get ready for major picture overload coming this next week!

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

If you remember my Christmas dining room decor from last year I kept things very similar.

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

{Similar Plaid Reindeer}

The only difference is that I decorated my tree different and instead of using candles on the table for a centerpiece I used reindeer instead.  I think the reindeer add a happy element to the table.  Reindeer and snowflakes.. two favorites for me when it comes to Christmas decor. :)

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

This was my table last year with the candles.  Side note.. I finally found some HEART SANTA pillows that are similar to mine!  So cute.  I usually don’t love hearts on things but these pillows are an exception.  Long time favorites I get excited to pull out every year!

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

{Stripe Napkins/Red Rimmed Plates/Wooden Chargers/Stocking Flatware/Similar Merry & Bright Plates}

I still love this place setting.. especially the cute flatware stockings!

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

Of course I kept our Hot Cocoa station the same.  My kids’ favorite tradition.  Addison and Kole have had hot chocolate every night this month!  I’m trying to hold out until at least the 20th because my dirty hair is bad enough at this point.. I don’t need an extra 5 pounds to go with it. ;)

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

Still obsessed with these Pine, Berry & Eucalyptus wreaths.  I’m surprised they are still in stock!

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

This was my little dining room tree last year.

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

And this is what it’s looking like this year.  The only things I used again was the tree skirt and red berries.  A lot of these items are from my family room tree last year.  Reindeer and snowflakes and my long time favorite Santa hat tree topper (similar here).

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

I decorated four trees in my home this year and this little tree in my dining room is hands down my personal favorite. :)

Christmas Dining Room (Sunny Side Up)

I love this room at night.  It’s so warm and inviting.  Almost makes me want to cook something just to eat it in here. ;)

Favorite Christmas Pajamas!

*affiliate links used below
Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Me and some close besties a couple of years ago. :)  Most of us are wearing PJ Salvage pajamas in this pic!}

Happy weekend!  I’m sharing some of our recent beloved Christmas pajamas with you all today.. one of my favorite things!  I pretty much live in my Christmas pjs from October through February every year.  As soon as it starts getting dark earlier I get excited to pull them out.  Cute, comfortable, warm and they remind me of the magic of the season.. what could be better? :)

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Gone Napping Top/Gone Napping Lounge Pants/Ugg Slippers}

My most worn recent pair of pjs actually aren’t Christmas related, but they are SO comfortable I had to share!  My GONE NAPPING pjs have doubled for me for clothes more than I want to admit the past two months.  They have been perfect for days when I’m just working from home and then running kids around.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

I also hear they’re ideal for ladder climbing and hall decking.  Word on the street.. or should I say mantel..

K.  I’ll stop now.  Can you tell I’m up too late with this post again?

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{similar red thermal/thermal fleece pajama pants/Ugg slippers}

These striped thermals are also so incredibly soft and have become go-to’s for me.  They also come in red!

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Stripe Thermal Pajamas/Ugg Pom Pom Fleece Lined Socks}

These cute pj’s come in a set and I was surprised at how flattering and stretchy the pants are!  I was also surprised that I really liked the cheetah print.  I ordered them thinking I’d probably end up returning them but nope.  Keepers for sure!  They come in lots of patterns including a fun pink camo.  This cute set would make a great gift and so would my pom pom fleece lined socks!  I’ve given them as gifts for 2 years in a row and my family and friends have loved them.  So many cute new colors are out this year too.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

 {Barefoot Dreams Blanket}

Same set I was wearing to kick off my 2019 Favorite Things!

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Loosey Goosey Pajamas in Candy Cane Stripe 2019/Butter Socks}

Oh these pjs!  So soft!  More on the thin side and not as fuzzy as some which I love because sometimes fleece pjs get hot for me when I’m cleaning!  This is a new to me brand and I love them.  The only thing I will say is that the length runs on the short side!  Which I also love.  Because remember I’m 5’3 and a half (don’t forget the half).  Usually pj pants this style are in a puddle on the floor by my ankles so I love that these pants are the perfect length.  But if you’re ordering an xs and are taller than me they might be too short.  Just something to keep in mind!  They come in so many cute patterns.  I love the Christmas multi stripe too!

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Jersey and Fleece Pajamas/Butter Socks}

Another fun festive pair of Christmas pjs!  Ok.  Cute factor I give these pjs 5 stars (SO cute right!?).  Comfy factor I give them a 4.  Only because the pants aren’t quite as comfortable as all of the above pjs pants.  The pants don’t feel like fleece – not a lot of stretch in them.  But they still fit cute for me and like I said.. I love the look.  I’ll definitely wear them around the house and would sleep in the top, but I wouldn’t sleep in the bottoms.  If you’re looking for soft as butter pjs to sleep in too.. any of the above pjs fit that bill!

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

This cute pair of striped pj’s must have sold out because I can’t find them on-line anymore!  The Loosey Goosey multi stripe is similar!

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Cozy Nice Top – comes in “NAUGHTY” and other options too!}

The full on bold red and green stripes were a bit much for me on this pair – hard to believe there can be TOO much Christmas cheer, but whoa.. sometimes there can. ;)  I like it better with just the striped pants and this cute cozy top.

Because I’m nice like that.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

SO many cute Christmas sock options too!  The perfect accessories to your holiday pjs. :)

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Sunday Funday Pajamas}

I asked my wing man to model his recent favorite pjs and he was immediately on board.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Winter Print Pj Set}

Maybe a little too on board!  He said right before I took this pic “mom this one is for the ladies!”  Ha!  Oh. My. Word.  He’s just like his father.  We’re in serious trouble.  What do you think ladies?

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Two-Piece Pajamas}

The 3 pairs I shared are his recent favorites!  Truth be told I tend to spoil this one when it comes to things like Christmas pajamas for 2 reasons.  1 – He usually sleeps in his clothes!  He lives in shorts and a top and doesn’t like to be hot and this time of year (because of the holidays and cooler temps) is the only time I can get him to wear pjs.  (His beloved robe is the only exception because it’s so soft.  I ordered him this pair for Christmas to wear in the Spring!)  And 2 – He’s my youngest and there is just something about kids in pjs.  It’s my favorite and one thing I miss about having babies/little kids is bath and pajama time.  I loved getting my kids all shiny and clean and putting them in cozy pjs and being home for the night!  I have the best memories of our evening routine when my kids were little.  My girls would put on Christmas nightgowns and dance around their room waiting for daddy to come home from work while 2 year old Kole would run around in the cutest footed pjs pulling their toys out of drawers.  My 3 kids weren’t the only ones anxiously waiting for daddy to come home each night!  I was always exhausted by that time of day but I still remember loving pajama time before bed.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

When Kole turned to look at the little houses on the tree (his favorite this year!) I had an instant flashback.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{These beloved Santa pjs are back in stock!  Some of our all time favorites. :)}

It feels like I took this sweet picture last week!  My baby is growing up.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Fitted Santa pj set}

And yet.. he still acts pretty much the same.  I’m sure this one was also “for the ladies.”  Ha!  Love my little ham.

Favorite Christmas Pajamas (Sunny Side Up)

{Chunky Wool & Jute Rug}

Christmas Pajamas.  The best!  I rounded up my favorites for everyone in the family below.  Wishing you a cozy weekend with plenty of pj time. :)

Family Room Christmas Decor

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

I’m so excited to share my family room Christmas decor with you all today!  This room was my favorite to decorate this year just because I mixed things up from what I’ve done in previous years.  All sources will be linked at the end of this post!

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

(cozy neutral snowflake Christmas tree sources are linked in this post – my cute knit tree skirt is on sale!  And you can find my jeweled snowflake tree topper here.) :)

The neutral tree was a stretch for me and I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but now that I have some other pops of red in this room.. phew!  It’s Christmas again and I can breathe.  Really enjoying the tree now. :)

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

(long wooden bowls/light up house/fa-la-la bowl/gold and white bowl/reindeer/similar tree/similar small wreath)

I had fun styling these shelves on my entertainment center.  The cutting boards and little wreath made a fun backdrop!

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

The shelves are almost identical aside from different but similar bowls and cutting boards.  It was a little “let’s use what we have around here and be done” challenge I gave myself.  Good times. :)

And then there’s the garland.  The garland!

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

Getting the garland up on this entertainment center was no easy task!  I had my friend over for back up support and she took this pic.  I thought that the top of my entertainment center was a big flat piece of wood, but no.. it’s just the thin top of the crown and then the wide shelf is lower so there was nothing to attach the garland to!  I kinda sorta got two pieces to stay (one on each side) and I really wanted to add one more piece on top to give the garland more of a full look.

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

That wasn’t in the cards.  Every time I tried to add one more piece of garland the whole thing came crashing down!  I tried attaching it with small command hooks and even my go to painter’s tape, but nothing was working so this garland is attached with.. drumroll please.. nothing!  Ha.  The middle part looks a little off but when I tried to fix it everything started slipping again so I finally just had to tell the perfectionist side of myself that it’s better to have it up and “off” than not up at all!  I do love how much it warms up all of the white and adds such a cozy Christmas feeling to the room.

Last night I was laying in bed awake (going through my to-do list in my head like I always do) and I heard a loud sound.  Everyone was asleep but me and I immediately sat up in bed and gasped out loud “MY GARLAND!”  Kenny mumbled a “huh?” and then started snoring again while I ran out into my dark family room and flipped on the lights just certain that the whole thing had tumbled to the ground.  But it was still there!  Hanging ever so imperfectly just like I’d left it.  The fireplace garland was in tact too.. and the garland around my front door.  The loud noise must have been our ice maker or something but the whole thing just made me laugh.  I’ve got so much garland attached to things throughout my home!  It’s all hanging by a thread and it’s making me feel like I’m hanging by a thread because at any minute something is going to come crashing down.

But I’ll enjoy it all before it does!

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

(my recent favorite pjs – top & bottoms/similar wreath/faux garland option)

Don’t mind me.. just swinging from the rafters around here. ;)  I always talk about how this large fireplace is and what a challenge it is to decorate. I’m 5’3 and 1/2 (don’t forget the half) so this gives you a better look at the scale of this thing.  Like I said.. it’s big. :)  I first tried attaching my wreath with thick red ribbon but that was a fail!  This whole room was quite a bit of trial and error.

(Details on how I attached my fireplace garland in this post.)

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

(red ribbon/similar stockings/similar wreath/brass candle holders/ivory candles)

I ended up attaching it with some jute string and then I just added a red ribbon to the wreath because again.. it’s Christmas and I needed my red fix. :)

Christmas Family Room Decor (Sunny Side Up)

All of the climbing and risking my life paid off because.. Christmas decor!  I love it.  I really don’t think I could love anything more.  Well.. maybe my family.  And AG jeans and cherry ice chapstick.  But that’s about it.  Christmas decor is a solid #4. ;)

That wraps up my family room Christmas tour.  I hope you enjoyed it!  It’s a cozy spot to hang.

If I could just fix that garland in the middle..  no!  I don’t mean that.  It’s perfect.  Perfectly imperfect.  And neutral is good.

This is me growing.

But have I grown enough?  Because I still kinda want to fix the middle of my garland.

And add some red to my tree.

But I won’t!

Until next year.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!)

*This post is sponsored by Wayfair and affiliate links are used. All opinions and product selections are my own!

I’m so excited to share some of my Wayfair favorites with you today!  I was thrilled when Wayfair reached out to me about this post because they are one of my favorite on-line sites for home decor.  They literally have EVERYTHING you could ever want to create a home you love and everything is on major sale this weekend for Black Friday and Cyber Monday!  At the end of this post I’ll link to all of my favorites on sale right now!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Birch Lane is one of my favorite brands that Wayfair carries (classic, quality products for great prices) so when I head to their web site looking for something specific I usually go through all of the Birch Lane items first.  I’ve been bringing a little more gold into my home (loving the mixed metal look!) so I’ve been on the hunt for a new gold floor lamp for my family room to sit next to my striped chair.  Talk about a happy day when I found this adorable set of lamps with great reviews for such a good price!  They JUST sold out but are coming back in stock so check back!  I’ll also watch and share the news when they are back in stock here on my blog.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

I wasn’t looking for a table lamp, but if my new floor lamp happens to come with the cutest matching gold task lamp who am I to refuse?  I simply had no choice but to accept that they were coming as a pair and to find a fun place for both.  Easy and done. :)  I might move this task lamp at some point to a bedroom or my office (it’s not really a console table lamp) but I don’t know.. I’m loving the matching set in my family room right now!  I have my eye on this beautiful gold accent mirror too.  Wouldn’t it be pretty over a console or entry table?

These are some other Birch Lane items I love that are on sale this weekend (including my mudroom fixture!)..

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

A couple of other Wayfair favorites in my family room right now are the adorable Church Birdhouses I picked up last year for holiday decor.  They light up so cute at night!  I have two of them on my family room shelves.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

I also love this white/gold serving bowl so much that I picked up two of them.  It’s perfect to display with ornaments during the holidays and then I can use them for entertaining after.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

This glass serving bowl on my coffee table is another favorite from Wayfair.  So pretty and it’s on sale for such a great deal right now!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Of course I couldn’t have a snowflake Christmas tree without a sparkly snowflake pillow. :)   (This red snowflake pillow is similar and I have the matching lumbar pillow too!)

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

The cute rustic iron bells on my door are a Wayfair find from years ago.  I’ve bought others since and this set is still my favorite!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

The navy Newport Bayside table in my dining room was a Wayfair splurge and I’ve been so happy with it!  A beautiful piece of furniture that looks great all year.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Bonus that it’s perfect to hold my hot chocolate station. :)

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

{snyder vanity tray/similar console table on sale (LOVE this!)/similar garland}

Wayfair is also a fun place to find unique, decorative trays.  They have such a huge selection and I’m obsessed with the latest two trays I ordered from them.  This Snyder Vanity Tray is so elegant and stylish!  It comes in silver, gold and black.  The long shape makes it perfect for any type of table.  It’s currently in my entry and I love the sleek look of it against the rustic wood.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

The other tray I recently bought is this pink Hepner Decorative Accent tray.  So cute and I love the gold handles!  I have it at the foot of my bed holding ornaments with my other white and gold serving bowl.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

This pink tray works perfectly with my bedroom tree (more pics coming soon!) but I’m also excited to use it in the Spring/Summer.  These are a few Wayfair trays I love!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

My Eucalyptus Swag from this Fall is a Wayfair find and is back in stock!  It’s so beautiful in person!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

I’m going to add a few berries to them to make them Christmas ready. :)

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

You can also find my long time favorite kitchen rugs at Wayfair.  I love Dash and Albert rugs and Wayfair carries a great selection.. so many cute styles!  A lot of their rugs are on major markdown right now for Black Friday too!  These are some of my favorites..

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

{light fixture – on sale!/similar tree/knitted red tree skirt/mercury garland/similar ski lift sign}

Last year I decorated this little tree in my mudroom with Wayfair products and it turned out so cute!  Most of the items are back in stock and on sale so I’ll link to them all (or similar items) at the bottom of this post.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Love this red knitted Christmas tree skirt!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

And this cute snowflake tree skirt I’ve had a few years that’s on sale.  I clearly have a thing with snowflakes.  Maybe because we rarely see them living in San Diego?  Funny story.. we were visiting my sister and her family in Salt Lake in October and we hopped in the rental car leaving the airport and there was an ice scraper on the seat in the car.  My kids didn’t know what it was!  They were like “what’s this thing for.. did someone who had the car before us forget something?”  Ha ha.. Kenny and I were laughing.  Clearly they were raised in southern Cal!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

This mercury garland is so beautiful!  I’m going to add it to the garland on my staircase this year.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Christmas trees at night.  Nothing better!  The lights create such a beautiful, welcoming sight.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Last but not least.. I found my darling 3 piece reindeer set I bought last year at Wayfair this year!  You guys.. this is the cutest set of reindeer!

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

Last December I set them by my front door but this year I moved them over in front of my window on our narrow front porch.

Wayfair Favorites (on sale!) Sunny Side Up

They light up and sparkle so beautifully at night!  The baby and mom are supposed to look at each other but it works better on my porch to set them in a line like this. :)

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of my Wayfair favorites I’m decorating with at the moment!  They truly carry everything and then some when it comes to home decor and have become one of my favorite on-line spots to shop!  I’ll link all of my Wayfair favorites below.  Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving weekend and happy sale shopping!

Holiday Gift Guide for Men

*affiliate links used

Left Center Right (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We just got done playing such a fun game with the kids tonight at my moms. It’s called Left Center Right and we all got laughing so hard!  It’s a fun, fast paced game that all ages can play.

Left Center Right (Sunny Side Up)

My mom snapped these quick when we were playing.  Someone goes home with all the money and I wish I could say it was me but not this time.  Man.. I was so close!  My kids loved this game so I have no doubt we’ll be playing it a lot this holiday season.  What are some of your favorite family games?  I’d love to hear!

Gift Guide for Men (Sunny Side Up)

*Snapped this selfie right before we ate today.  Grateful for him. :)

Today I’m sharing my gift ideas for MEN!  I’ll also include a round-up of my other gift guides/favorite things below if you missed any to help you with your Black Friday holiday shopping.  It has made my day to hear from some of you that these gift guides have been helpful!  I love hearing about friends’ favorite things too.  It’s so fun sharing ideas so that we can all find holiday gifts that will be useful and meaningful to the people we love most!  Here are some things my husband and the other men in my life love along with a couple of gifts I’m picking up this year!  (I still need to share ideas for BOYS!  That will be my last gift guide and it’s coming.) :)
Gift Guide for Men (Sunny Side Up)

1 – Crew Neck Sweater – Kenny loves BR sweaters like this!  He also has and loves this sweater that’s half off!

2 – Knit Tech Gloves – Warm gloves with touchscreen-friendly fingertips so you can still access your phone in the cold!

3 – Crew Hair Products – This is my husband’s favorite for hair!  He is always trying new Crew products and loves them all but especially the 3-in-1 Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash and the Fiber Molding Creme.

4 – Wood Phone Docking Station/Organizer – Ordered this for my husband because he needs a place to consistently put all of these small items (key’s, phone, watch) so that we aren’t searching for where he set them down every other day!

5 – Travel Shaving Kit – I had heard great things about this brand of shaving products for men so I’ve been thinking about getting it for Kenny to try.  I read the reviews and it sounds like this kit is so small so now I’m looking at this Kiehls Starter Kit instead.  Do any of you have men in your life who use products like this?  Do they love them?  Kenny always just uses cheap shaving cream and I know he would love something nicer!

6 – Apple Watch – One of my husband’s absolute favorite things!  He doesn’t go anywhere without his Apple watch.  I asked my brother-in-law tonight what his favorite things are and his Apple watch was #1 on his list too so clearly a popular item!

7 – Leaf Blower (here/here) – My dad loves his Leaf Blower!  I linked to two great options.

8 – Nano Puff Water Resistant Jacket – Thinking we need to try this jacket since the vest has been such a hit!

9 – Reflective Vest for Running or Cycling – Kenny wears a similar vest every evening because he runs in the dark.  I love that this vest is so light weight and comfortable and there is NO WAY people aren’t going to see you running in this.  The reviews are great so we’ll be giving this a try.  If you run or bike in the dark please wear something like this!  Safety first. There’s my mom moment for the day. ;)

10 – Patagonia Nano Puff Vest – Hands down my husband’s favorite thing in this world!  He LIVES in this vest (wore it today as you can see pictured above!) and all he wants for Christmas this year is the same vest in another color!  Done and done. :)

11 – Fossil Wallet – I love Fossil wallets and have given them to my dad, husband and brother for gifts!

12 – Dress Socks – You can’t go wrong with new socks.  Not the most exciting gift but always appreciated. :)

13 – Ugg Leather Slippers – Such a fun gift for any man in your life!  You just can’t get better than cozy Ugg slippers this time of year.

14 – Under Armour Duffle Gym Bag – This gym back is on sale and has great reviews!  Perfect for so many occasions.  It comes in lots of colors and sizes so I also picked one up for each of my girls for sleepovers!

15 – Slim Fit Jogger Pants – Vuori has become one of my favorite brands for women’s lounge pants and joggers.  I thought I’d try a pair for Kenny and see if he loves them as much as I do!

If you missed any previous gift guides OR my 2019 Favorite Things post I’ll add links below.  SO many of these items I’ve recommended are now on sale!  Woot woot!  Happy shopping. :)

New Beds, Gifts for Her and Sales Galore!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  You know what makes me so happy?  When I send out a blog post to those of you on my e-mail list and I get back all of the “out of office” replies.  There’s probably a way I could make it so that I don’t get all of them, but I haven’t looked into it because I love getting them in my inbox!  It makes me happy to know so many of you are “out of the office” and taking time off for the holidays.  I sit and delete them all with a big smile on my face.  Kenny thinks I’m so weird… ha.  But I love knowing my blog friends are taking time off!  So I hope you’re all out of the office and enjoying your day today. :)

Christmas Gifts for Her (Sunny Side Up)

We traveled over the river and through the woods to grandma’s house and are so happy to be with family!  We got in late and my cute mom surprised the kids with new beds and bedding for all the cousins.  So much fun!  She got these darling Pintuck duvet covers on Amazon and then picked up some cute Christmas blankets at Home Goods.  (Ignore the horrible lighting!  Snapped these quick at night with my phone before the kids got in bed.)

Christmas Gifts for Her (Sunny Side Up)

The boys got sloth blankets and stuffed animals.  :)

Christmas Gifts for Her (Sunny Side Up)

My mom was doing a lot of food prep so I volunteered to take the kids to Target.  Oh my WORD.  That was an adventure!  I felt like I had 300 kids with me!  Ha.  I told them they could all pick out a surprise from Aunt Erin and it was madness keeping them all together.  (Snapped this waiting for El to get some make-up.)  We came home with colorful teeth from slurpees, all sorts of surprises and new pjs.  I fell on the couch from exhaustion didn’t move for an hour after.  Attempting to be a fun Aunt is not for the weary. ;)

Christmas Gifts for Her (Sunny Side Up)

I snapped this pic in my closet when I started packing.  I was so excited to pack all of my recent favorite sweaters because it’s COLD in Utah right now.  A storm is coming and we’re crossing our fingers we get a little snow!

I’ve shared some of these sweaters, but haven’t had time to take pics of them all so here are links to all of my recent favorites! Some of them are marked down.  YEA.

I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow to the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade on TV.  We always start Thanksgiving day at my mom’s in pjs next to the fireplace watching the Macy’s parade.  So fun to lounge all morning with my brother and sister and their families.  One of my favorite days of the year.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!  I’m truly so grateful for all of you, your friendship and your support of my blog.  It means so much to me.

I put together a fun holiday gift guide for all of the women in your life!  Basically it’s 10 things I have and love or want this year. :)  Below the gift guide are links to some of my favorites that are already on sale.  So many good deals!

Holiday Gift Guide for Her (Sunny Side Up)

1 – TULA Glow Getters Set – I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and am loving it!  It includes my favorite eye balm I mentioned in my 2019 Favorite Things post and I love the primer (almost gives your face a little mini tan!).  Such a great deal and would be a fun gift!

2 – Tory Burch Leather Shoulder Bag – Might have ordered this one to me from me this year!  Such a classic, beautiful purse and 50% off!  I love this TB purse too.  There are so many beautiful Tory Burch items on sale this weekend!

3 – You’ve seen this in my home before.. I love this gold mirror tray!  I get most of my decorative trays from West Elm (love these too) and they always look so good styled different ways.

4 – North Face Fleece Jacket – I have this fleece jacket and it’s so warm and comfortable!  Also on sale this weekend!

5 – Nudes Lipgloss Kit – Bobbi Brown lip gloss is my favorite!  I hinted to Kenny that I’d love this because all of the colors look like my favorite shades and it’s such a good deal on this set!

6 – Gigietta Bootie – These Vince Camuto booties I got at the N sale last summer have become Fall staples.  Love them and they would make a great gift for a sister, mom, friend.

7 – Hanging Travel Toiletry Bag – I ordered this and can’t wait to get it!  I’ve been looking for a new travel bag for make-up and after a little Amazon research I decided this looks like the best!  I’ll share it in stories when it comes if I love it! :)

8 – Barefoot Dreams Blanket/Items – The Barefoot Dreams blanket is on sale!  Pretty much anything Barefoot Dreams is a great gift idea and you can find their fun items here on Amazon or here at Nordstrom.  Robes, Cardis, Blankets, Socks.. ALL amazingly soft and cozy!

9 – Ugg Robe – Speaking of soft.. you can’t go wrong with Ugg and this short robe looks perfect to put on after a shower.  I would love getting this as a gift!

10 – Ugg Slippers – These Ugg slippers look so cute and come with amazing reviews.  I’m in love with them in pink or grey!  This cute similar slipper with the pompom is on sale and also adorable.

Holiday Gift Guide for Girls

Thanksgiving week! So much fun. I hope you’re all as excited as I am about spending time with loved ones and pulling out the stretchy pants. :)  Today I’m sharing my gift guide for GILRS! My girls are now teens (prayers are appreciated) so a lot of these gifts are things they love/want and are great for 11-17 year olds.  I also included a few cute things for younger girls that El and Ad would have been obsessed with!  Last year I put together a fun gift guide that included a lot of things for kids of all ages so I’ll add that at the end of the post too if you’re looking for more ideas.  Fun gifts for boys and men are coming soon!  Along with lots of Christmas decor. :)

Holiday Gift Guide for Girls (Sunny Side Up)

1- Elsa’s Magical Ice Palace  and Elsa’s Ice Palace – Are these not the cutest for little girls!?  With Frozen 2 out Elsa’s Ice Palace would make any little one smile Christmas morning. :)  Have you all seen it yet?  We took the kids on Saturday and they loved it!  Personally I didn’t think it was as good as the first Frozen, but it’s always hard to beat the original.  My kids all 3 liked it better than the first one though so what do I know. ;)

2-  Grab & Go Ponytail Holders – My girls’ favorite ponytail holders!  I love putting a new set in their stockings each year. They come in so many different colors and I use and love them too!  My girls and I have thick hair and these are the best we’ve found for really holding your hair without pulling.

3- Faux Fur Heart Pillow – So cute for any girls’ bed!

4 – Wildflower iPhone Case – These Wildflower phone cases are all the rage with my girls and their friends right now!

5 – Facial Mask Set – Anything to do with skin care is a great gift for tweens/teens and I know my girls will love these facial masks!

6 – 3 Tier Rolling Cart – K is this not the cutest rolling cart!?  It doesn’t come with the pretty gold lettering, but in a way that’s nice because you can label it exactly how you want.  It can be used in so many different ways!  Especially perfect for crafts.  I wish I would have had this to roll into our kitchen when my girls were little!

7 – Vixen Earbud Case – My oldest is rarely seen without her earbuds in so no doubt this cute case will be a hit.  I’m hoping it encourages her to put them away every now and again and join us in the land of the living. ;)

8 – Initial Pendant Necklace – I have this exact necklace and love it!  I always include initial pendants on gift guides because people love them and it’s so fun to give something that is personalized.

9 – Hooded Fleece Robe – I’ve shared Kole’s obsession with this robe before.  Hands down his most beloved item!

10 – LED Stripe Lights – Ellie wants these lights for her room for Christmas.  I’m not so sure about them but.. “all my friends have them mom!  They’re so cool!”  So we’ll see. ;)

11 – Toiletry Case – This is so cute for travel!  I love all of the separate compartments.  Compartments make me so happy. :)

12 – Sticker Pack For Water Bottle – These are so much fun.  Addison loves having her beloved Hydro Flask decked with stickers to take to school every day!

13 – Favorite Daughter Tee – Cutest tee.  Especially if you just have one daughter. ;)

14 – Mini Heart Earrings –  Addison just got her ears pieced a few months ago so earrings are going to be a hit this year!  I love this cute heart set.

15 – LuLuLemon Align Pant 28″ – Ellie and all of her teen-age friends who dance are obsessed with these leggings!  It’s all they wear to school every day.  Leggings and a hoodie.  I resisted for the longest time because of the price and then finally broke down and got me a pair and AHHH!  Seriously the most SLIMMING leggings I’ve ever worn.  My butt has never looked better. ;)  Splurge on a pair for yourself if you haven’t tried them!  Before you get a pair for your teen. ;)

16 – Butter Socks – You can never go wrong with butter socks!  My girls and I live in them this time of year.

17 – Ugg Slippers – Same with Ugg slippers.  I love these in the pink for girls!

18 – Jewelry Display Stand – I love this jewelry display stand for necklaces and earrings!  The gold and pink combo is perfection.

19 – Cozy Pom Throw – Cutest cozy pom throws.  Perfect for a girls bedroom for decor and snuggling!

20 – 24 Color Nail Polish – Clear Nail Polish Organizer – My girls are constantly painting their nails!  Excited to get them some fun new colors and an organizer to hold them all!

I hope these gift ideas were helpful if you’re buying for any girls this year!  Below is my KIDS gift guide from last year. :)

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids (Sunny Side Up)

1 – Mongoose Expo Scooter 12″ Wheels – Since Kole doesn’t read this blog I think I’m ok mentioning that mom bought these fun scooters for him and his cousins this year!  They have absolutely loved their Razor Scooters and ride them all the time so she thought this would make a fun upgrade.  Sure to be a hit!  I still remember the Christmas me and my sister and our neighborhood friends all got pink scooters.  One of our favorite Christmas mornings we always talk about!

2 – Zingo – Kole’s all time favorite game when he was a couple of years younger.  If only I had a dollar for all the times I’ve played it with him!  I could afford a lot of Zingo games. ;)

3 – PB Kids Dolls (on sale!)  –  PB Kid dolls are too much fun.  So life like and you can brush/style their hair.  I miss buying dolls!  If my niece was a few years older I would buy this Special Edition Equestrian Doll so fast!  And the horse and stable.  Maybe I want these for myself for Christmas.  I’m not even kidding about that.  Ha..

4 – The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs – This looks so cute for kids who are interested in learning to cook!  I got it for Addison this year (she knows to stay away from this post!).  The recipes look simple so maybe her mom can also learn a thing or two. ;)

5 – Let’s Play House (Dust Sweep Mop) Pretend Play Set – All three of my kids LOVED to pretend to clean with me when they were little!  They always cleaned along side of me and I honestly think it helped teach them some basic housekeeping skills and how to pitch in and help at a young age.  Our little pretend broom and mop were favorites and we still have them today!

6 – Let it Snow (snow powder for slime) – if you have a child who is still into slime (I’m so sorry.. I’m suffering from the same fate over here!) this snow powder is all the rage.

7 – Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall – This looks amazing!  Perfect for the child who is into Legos or Harry Potter.  And if you have a child who loves both.. this should make him/her very happy.  And very occupied!  The gift that gives back to parents too.. ;)

8 – Stencils and Drawing Art Set for Kids – Most kids love stencils!  And I think they get overlooked a lot.  We often get our kids art sets, but stencils are a great addition because they give kids some direction.  Kole has never been into art and coloring, but if I place a set of stencils in front of him and he can trace a few things it spurs his imagination and creativity.  I’ve always loved stencils!

9 – Personalized Woodwork Bench – Santa brought Kole this personalized Woodwork Bench for Christmas when he was younger and he loved it!  I loved that it had his name on it. :)  Kids have so much fun hammering and pounding with tools.  Kole also had and loved a set just like this one he got for Christmas one year.  Toys he played with again and again and again!  He still gets out the drill from time to time and “fixes” our cupboards. :)

10 – Incredibles Action Figures – My kids played with small action figures like this ALL the time when they were younger and this set is adorable!  Have you all seen the new Incredibles movie?  We watched it as a family last week and loved it.

11 – Black Stripe Teepee (on sale!) – If you follow my blog closely you know we have and love this black stripe teepee!  Aside from being fun to play inside, it also looks darling in a playroom or bedroom.  Because.. stripes. :)

12 – JellyCat Stuffed Animals – My kids all love their stuffed animals.  Still today they each have a few that they sleep with and drag around.  JellyCat stuffed animals are the softest!  Lots of fun, fuzzy options for a child of any age. :)

13 – Lifetime Youth Basketball Hoop – I’m not totally sure what Santa has up his sleeve this year but if I had to guess I’d bet on this lifetime youth basketball hoop for Kole.  Or this one.  Both look like great options for some easy basketball practice in the back yard. :)

14 – Kids UGG boots – I held off getting my girls Ugg boots for a long time because they are pricey and kids’ feet grow so quickly!  But they wanted them so much so one Christmas a few years ago I finally caved.  I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much they wear them!  They live in them during the winter months even with our not so freezing climate.  They have been so cute on them and worth the money!  So many fun styles out this year.  I especially love these Bailey Bow boots for girls and I know Kole would love these cozy Dakota Moccasins!

15 – Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk – I can’t share a gift guide for kids and not include princess dresses for little girls!  Long time readers remember just how many we use to have at our house. :)

16 – Portable Soccer Goal – Perfect gift for any little soccer player!  My mom bought one for Kole when he started playing soccer this year and it’s so easy to pop up in the yard for a little kicking practice or a game when friends are over.  This one comes in multiple size options too!

17 – Boxing Ball Set with Punching Ball – Kole wants a punching ball for Christmas this year and this is the best I found!  I’m actually really excited about this because he has SO MUCH ENERGY and is always walking around punching things like my throw pillows.  Hoping he can burn off some energy with this thing and leave my beloved pillows alone. ;)

18 – Latch Board – all three of my kids LOVED this!  Such a great little toy for toddlers!  It really held their attention and was great for fine motor skills.  We still have ours.  I’m saving this beloved toy for grandkids!  I absolutely love Melissa and Doug and would recommend any of their puzzles, games and toys for young kids.

19 – Barbie Dreamhouse – Probably my girls most favorite Christmas gift ever!  Oh the hours they would spend playing together with their dolls and doll houses.  Have I mentioned how much  I miss that? :)  We have lots of favorite doll houses.  Aside from the Barbie Dreamhouse (hello elevator, pool and slide!) my girls also loved their Kidkraft dollhouse (this mansion is amazing!) and when they were really little this Fisher-Price My First Dollhouse was a favorite. We still have all 3 dollhouses.  None of us can part with them!

20 – Pirate Ship Bath Toys – Kole’s all time favorite bath toys!  These fun pirates stick to the side of the tub so kids can build ships on the side of the tub and and then float the rafts while they play.  Kole played with these in the tub for years and never got tired of them!  My kids also loved these foam letters and numbers in the tub when they were younger.  Too much fun sticking things on the side of the bathtub. :)

21 – Princess Castle Play Tent – I think the only thing my girls loved as much as their dolls and dollhouses (and their princess dresses!) was their pink play tent.  We had a pink play tent in our living room for years!  This Castle Play Tent is such a dream for any little girl.

22 – Radio Flyer Ziggle – Ending on one of Kole’s long time favorite toys.  He loved his Ziggle and rode it every afternoon for years!

xoxo, Erin
